Most of these pitchers throw really hard, up in the high 90's. Halladay throws more to the lower end of the 90's 90-93. Halladay is a workhorse, and the only way he'll get injured is by a freak accident, like Mench's line drive that broke his leg in 2005, or having to get his appedix out. |

Add Jamie Moyer, he's like 47 years old and pitches on 3 day rest. |

I highly doubt both Halladay and Burnett will get injured in the same season. |

Burnett won't be your problem next year. I was thinking its been a long time since Halladay got hurt though. |

No Marlins, good. |
![]() Hanley Ramirez doesn't make errors--the ball is just afraid of him. Shadez was the first man to walk on the moon... with sunglasses on. In rookie ball, he drove a ball to deep centerfield, only to be informed he had been traded on his way to first base. So, he sprinted to the wall and robbed himself of a homerun. He can turn a man to stone just by looking at him without his shades. Was pointed at when Babe Ruth supposedly called his shot. The June 24th game between the Marlins and Yankees was not, in fact, called by rain as was previously reported. Hanley had plans. And by plans we mean a date. With a girl. A babe if you will.

Burnett is definitely gonna get injured. First year of a new deal, 2nd in all of MLB in pitches this season, racking up mad abuse points in the 2nd half because we know he's not coming back. |

wellll Lincecum can afford to throw so many since his mechanics aren't so stressful to his arm. I think Burnett is definitely toast for next year, the guy's pitching mad to get money this offseason. I won't be surprised if he's taking cortisone right before gametime. |

lolwhut indeed. Lincecum has one of the worst deliveries for a pitcher, and considering he is like 5'11 and 175 and is throwing 100 he's gonna get fucked up by the time he's 30 if he continues like that. |

If he's been using his delivery since a little kid and it hasn't affected him, what makes you think it will anytime soon? |

exactly, the delivery uses his whole body effectively, and his arm is only in it for a ride. Listen to pitching experts on what they have to say about Lincecum before you lolwut on it. |

I've listened to them and they say that his delivery is too whip-like and harsh, and will catch up to him. |
