I dont wanna hear all these excuses pitchers are having throwing injuries and have to go on a 15 game DL. Heres one way how to reduce em..RAISE THE DAMN MOUND to 14 inches its very simple. A 10 inch mound is stupid back beyond the 1960s the mound was 16 inches high. And get this back in 1960s you didnt have a 10 or 15 game DL,,If you can pitch YOU GO BACK TO THE MINORS!!! And nobody wanted go back to minor leagues they pitch while theyre hurt.Too much of Players assn is bullcrap involving the game.Go back the way it was...If you wanna make all that money YOU PLAY!!! If Not you play for peanuts down in the Minors. Its as simple as that! I Had a disscussion with several ex Os Ballplayers during O's winter carnival at the yard. And 3 players were at the discussion Panel were Jim Palmer,Rick Dempsey and Earl Weaver. Palmer answer a fans question about being on the DL back in the old days.Palmer said there were no such thing as a DL list when I was pitching in 60s or early 70s.Cause if you said anything back then then you have pitch in the minors and someone comes up and can take your career away from you and none of us didnt wanna risk that. very Interesting. The Reason why they have a DL today is to protect the players money and their contracts.

The fastest way to get money is to steal a bank machine, it doesn't take rocket appliances to realize all you gotta do is take a fucking chain and hook it up to a truck and yank the fucking machine out of the store.

Any player that purposely sucks to get traded shouldn't be awarded MVP, no matter what he does for his new team.
