Same goes with me as well. You're not a true fan if you don't stick with your team, through the ups, and through the downs. |

I stuck with the Sox after 2003 ALCS, I stuck with the sox after missing the playoffs in 2006 with a 100M payroll, and now I'm sticking with the O's in another dreary season. unlike my brother who's a yankee fan.. he decided to root for the Cubs this season, no joke. |

I dont understand the point of being a 'bandwagon' fan or switching over to root for a different team. Part of being a fan is going through the ups and downs with the team and sticking with them no matter how much you want to throttle their heads and give up all together. I can sort of understand if you move to another state and you're not able to watch your favorite team as much, but even though I'm living in California now, I still watch every game I can and I will be a Brewers fan for life! |

uhmk do you need to bitch about this? it's not even that O's are better than the Sox. I'm like 50/50 sox/o's fan. All I see in local network are the orioles. |

haha, I'm not bitching since it's not really necessary but it's just a bit humorous and ironic that in a thread about people deserting their favorite teams, you come in and post about "sticking with the Sox, sticking with the Sox" and then revealing you left them and became a fan of another team. |

yeah my bad, I'm just sensitive in that area, I don't want people thinking I'm a bandwagon because I made the move from the sox to the o's. it's all good. |

I don't know how anyone can be considered a bandwagon fan if he goes from the Red Sox to the O's. |

Stuck through 2 firesales so I'm not abandoning my team now. As far as moving goes I haven't been able to watch my florida teams like the Marlins/Bucs that much but I stick with them still. If I have to use the internet or wait to watch there highlights on ESPN or another station then so be it. |
![]() Hanley Ramirez doesn't make errors--the ball is just afraid of him. Shadez was the first man to walk on the moon... with sunglasses on. In rookie ball, he drove a ball to deep centerfield, only to be informed he had been traded on his way to first base. So, he sprinted to the wall and robbed himself of a homerun. He can turn a man to stone just by looking at him without his shades. Was pointed at when Babe Ruth supposedly called his shot. The June 24th game between the Marlins and Yankees was not, in fact, called by rain as was previously reported. Hanley had plans. And by plans we mean a date. With a girl. A babe if you will.
