WHOOO WE WINNNN mvp carlos silva We're better than all these teams when healthy tho, still. If Bedard and Putz were in their full form, and Morse was back to how he was in ST, we'd be almost legit. almost as in barely better than these fools |

jw, what is it based on, records? if it's records, I'd say: O's/Royals/M's/Rangers or A's (1 game playoff) Nats/Pirates/Padres/Braves if it's ratings, I'd say: O's/Royals/Rangers/A's Nats/Pirates/Padres/Marlins (attendance-wise) |

if healthy, we would have been an 84/85 win team we would have Smoltz, Hudson, Jurrjens, a nasty top 3, our bullpen would have Moylan (1.80 ERA in 90 IP in 2007, 1.59 ERA in 2008), AND Rafael Soriano, AND Mike Gonzalez, a nasty 7-8-9, our bullpen would be better all around because Blaine Boyer wouldn't be pitching in 130 games a year. McCann missed time, Escobar missed time, Chipper missed time, Diaz missed time, Infante missed time, Hampton missed time, Acosta missed time, Glavine missed time, Kotsay missed time, Buddy Carlyle missed time, Prado missed time, etc... The only players that have been on the team the whole year and haven't missed more than 25 games are Kelly Johnson, Brian McCann, Blaine Boyer, Jair Jurrjens, and Will Ohman...... 5 players!!! everyone else was injured, in the minors, or on another team during the year. |
