everyone knows that showing up late is a disaster. in these games there is so much that is established in the first couple of days. i have a lot of damage control to do. it's important that i make it clear that i KNOW it's bad that i got here late. then players will respect that i want to be in the game and came here to play with them. the only plan i really have is to present myself as an option to as many players as possible. i want to latch on to someone powerful and hang under their wing for the first few rounds i've talked to a lot of people but off the top of my head i am a fan of: general, vecepia, peter, neleh, and gina. gabe is also going to be an asset because apparently he showed up as late as i did. i told him i have his back indefinitely. i have a strong feeling that vecepia is jenn busch. if that's true then i need to try to get into her alliance because i KNOW she'll run the game early and then get taken out by some greedy player who wants to make a move later in the game. i'll be protected for now and in a good position to approach the end game i also recognized jessica vezina from the second message i received from her. neleh i believe. hilarious because peter recommended neleh as someone he liked and i should work with. i suspect peter to be scott/judd who played in the last game and was very tight with jessica. my strategy right now is to get into an alliance tonight. lay low. do as they say. don't get restless (as i tend to do) |

Feel like if John didn't get that last point that you could have been in danger for a first vote? |

Oh, absolutely. Me and Gabe are in hot water right now. I feel like I've done a decent job at damage control. Certain people have caught on that I'm here to play the game and I've been very apologetic about missing the first few days. I just need to fall into the good graces of the correct players and I'll be alright through this first phase of the game. |

QUICK TRIBE ASSESSMENT Sean: Sean is extremely frustrating. As far as I can tell he's barely playing the game. I've never seen anything more than one sentence from the guy. No one can stand to get through to him. He up and asked me if anyone's talking about the vote also. I'm not sure he quite gets how to "socialize" with people here. Peter: Peter might be crazy. I picked up that he was somewhat of a clown so on Saturday I asked if he wanted to be my arch-nemesis. Thought it'd be fun. He replied with an ENORMOUS response laying out the "rules of combat" between us. Took it so far it was a little off-putting. Then when we ended up on the same tribe he sends me a whole panicky cease and desist message. Now he's on some kick about annoying the girls to get information. Whatever dude  I can't wait to see what else he brings to the table. It'd be a shame if he was our first boot. Rob: Rob is turning out to be quite the guy. He is clearly the best player on the tribe. I love the way he thinks. He has a lot of knowledge about the game and knows how to talk to people. Rob says things about the game that make my heart sing. He's been giving me a lot of information which is great. He's working very closely with General and Hunter. He wants to make a 5 but I'm not sure who he's implying should be the 5th. I keep trying to get him to connect with Gabe. Gabe: Gabe is my number one as of now. He and I shared the common ground of showing up late to the party. That was a quick way to connect with him. I share more information with him than anyone. I also talk much more loosely with him. Discussing scenarios that you really don't talk about this early in the game. General: General was my go-to guy coming into this tribe. He pointed me to which people to talk to and was very open about the game. He's been missing the past couple days which is frustrating. I like talking to him and I think he's good at the game. He's the one who pointed me to Rob. As I mentioned earlier I think they're a tight pair. Hunter seems to be their third. Hunter: Literally all I know about Hunter is that he's the third wheel to Rob and General. He's talking to me because there's a chance of an alliance there. John: I like John. He and I are talking a lot. The only problem is that Gabe is the only other person mentioning talking to John. Not a lot of damage you can do with 3 guys. I really want to work with John but I might just have to let this one go. If everyone decides to vote for him it'd be more damage for my game to try to save him. |

What's interesting to me is that Gabe seems to think he was in an alliance with you and John... which is also what Hunter warned the rest of us of when John tried to get him to join. You also had told me several times that you liked the alliance idea of me, you, General, Gabe, and Hunter.... which actually originated because General told me how much you and him hit it off and how tight you were with Gabe. And every time I brought it up, you made it seem like Gabe knew about it... but it turns out Gabe never knew about it and when I brought it up several rounds later, it was the first he had heard of it, and he thought I was just suddenly trying to put that alliance together. So I guess my question is what alliance did you really want to follow? And where did you and I actually stand on Rotu? Before the John vote and the mutiny... |

All I cared about was sticking to Gabe. He and I wanted Peter out first because then that would give us two options. Hunter *seemed* to lean either way. So taking out Peter would take the power from you and General and give it to me and Gabe. Long term I didn't care which group I went with, I just wanted to have options. John seemed to be a great option. |
