Heroes aren't born. They're built.

![]() There is nothing except this. There's no art opening, no charity, nothing to sign. There's the next mission, and nothing else. Okay well maybe there's a college project due for the 15th, but that's miles away yet. Apart from that, it's game on and no more fucking around here. I couldn't even afford it if I wanted to. This new tribe is very Titan flavoured. That's not entirely a bad thing, but if I let up socially for a second like I did on the 50-weekend and the 30, I'll be toast in record time. Is it weird that I feel like the game is really only beginning right now? It's a pretty clean slate for me. Yes of course there's going to be ties between these other five, but the way in which I left and re-entered has set me up to be a non-threat right now, & a strong ally to be picked up for use as at least a shield later. So that is the angle I am going to play hardest here. I will make out how super bitter I am at Genosha and hope to fuck that that lines up with each of their plans. The way each of their secret groups line up works for me too. None of them are in the same one. None but Wolverine are in the same as anyone I'm going to be shit-talking. The Genosha/Xandar/Asteroid-M clump of players should be who smart people would want to target if this was a merge situation so if I can paint myself as extremely up for that I can wiggle my way in here somewhere. A big part of how well I fare here is how well Banner is connected from the Titan days. I wish he'd picked Johnny Storm & not Romanov but it's done now. Fingers crossed that shows he is close to her, and she is happy to trust his word to vouch for me over say.. Ororo or Logan? idk yet. I am far from in any kind of position where I get to call the shots here, but just on initial impressions, that's how I feel it would go. Ororo might fit the boot better on past bonds and future set-up, where Logan ought fit on social skills - but he has had better placement lead-in. I'm a better fit for the boot than either of them of course, but I'm planning for avoiding that, not letting it happen Arena format too. Doesn't leave much room for error unless I'm 100% safe through immunity. And despite my wins earlier in the game, and blagging a returnee ticket through that twist - I'm still not Omega level here. I have no real idea of who is the best between Romanov, Rogue, Ororo and myself but I'd wager it's not me and I've just been flattering to deceive beside Spidey holding back a little and a not particularly strong tribe outside of that. But if me being strong in challenges gives reason to keep me here for the double nights, I will happily continue to fake it till I make it. I've not picked through the rounds yet, but Romanov & Rogue must have Tesseracts by now. A doubler each and that's four votes out of eight. Unless one suddenly wants to target the other (which I don't think so) or the other three all want to take out that power and risk a tie situation (I also don't think so) or I turn on Banner (I don't think so harder than the other two things) well that only leaves Ororo & Logan (or me obvs). Logan seems socially weaker, but from Rogue & Romanov's PoV he's been there with them through thick and thin. Which one doesn't matter, and I won't be the one to start any balls rolling. I'll just smile and nod whatever they decide and work my way in here. A final four of those two plus Banner and I is something I'd be quite happy with despite how deeply outnumbered I'd be by Tesseract-enhanced votes. Maybe even because of that is what would make them happy to do it too. In their eyes, worst case scenario I win immunity at that point and they can always boot Banner. Keeping me around helps keep us strong enough to avoid those quad boots as best we can manage. Exact same thing can be said for the Queen of Wakanda though, and that's another reason to make sure I am socially on top of everything this weekend. So that's my play here until I hear different. Gaga said to me on AIM earlier in the week that I'm more rootable in the minority. I can see that. I mean I'm generally a pretty cocky player at the best of times, give me a little power and I can get obnoxious. But hey, same exact thing with Tony Stark. But now I'm #tribeofone here looking for cracks so get to rooting. I have this second chance and I'm getting invested & grabbing it with two hands. It would be a shame for it all to just fall flat at our first tribal. But seriously, hit me with some questions or something. I got instantly rusty with just a few days out of the game. I need a Stan Lee pep talk / Aunt May game theory Q / Stryker sarky comment or Uncle Ben recipe to get me fired up here. |

That whole post reads way more optimistic than I actually feel right now. the only sure-fire way of survival, is to go into beast mode in these challenges somehow, and just string together some insane streak. I'm not so sure that's something I even can do on my best days.

Ugh, and now I think of it I'd better write it down here. Which two people did I read comparing notes in the BB? Eddie & Connors? Surfer? Both believed their set-up was the exact same layout as each other - exact same foursome with the exact same three girls. That has to be Romanov/Rogue/Roro. Fuck. |

This is not Arena format. Why would you say something like that? Does it worry you being on a tribe with Anna and Natasha who had quite a collection of challenge wins in the earlier two phases? |

idk why I said that when I know exactly the format it is  We all get thrown into an.. arena where we have to vote to people's face?? idk. Whoops. And goddamnit, after a PM or two with Ororo & Logan here too, this is a really cool tribe and I hate that there's Quad boots happening at all. Rogue & Romanov yeah. That's a problem. I feel like I'm forced to work with both of them now because of Tesseracts. It also cuts my chances to win individuals immunities down. But like I outlined above, if I can use it as a reason for them to keep me round, I'll do that too. What I can't do here is start pushing a "Hey let's flush the Tesseracts" train or anything like that. All I can do is keep chatting with people, keep trying to make a good impression and see if that fits their plans. Its a cool tribe though. Mini ranking based on initial PMs; 1. Banner Derp. 2. Logan We're venting about Charlie together <3 From what I'd heard Logan sucked. It's quite clear now relying on Charlie/Summers for feedback was the wrong call. Logan is great to talk with. Another well played rep too. I can feel the pent-up anti-societal rage bubbling under every line  3. Ororo More PMs than anyone else, but she's also a bit weirdly paced. Like I say this, this, this, this and this - and she replies with this. Then I say just this, and she replies with this, this, this, this, that(?), and the other(?!). It's knocks me off-kilter. 4. Rogue Easy-going and capable. Probably the safest person on the tribe so knows all she has to do is make nice with everyone, and whatever way the cards fall, she'll come out of this with allies. 5. Romanov This is not even a bad slot, it's still miles above the likes of Cap, but she does give off an air of disinterestedness that makes me think I'm already not in her plans. |

The more I talk with people, the more I know I need immunity tonight. Tribal or individual. I need it one way or the other for sure. Sooner or later someone is going to have to come to me with "the plan". i.e. what they'll tell me the plan is, but is actually just the back-up plan for if I were to win immunity. At that point I have only three options. -Actually go on and win individual immunity to force that plan. -Convince them that that plan is a better plan than booting me in the first place. -Go to whoever that plan is targeting and get them on my side. I don't think this option can work out though. Not with the Tesseracts in the mix. Doubly so if that plan revolves around booting Banner. It might just maybe work if somehow that target was Romanov or Rogue, but I don't expect it will be. The outside chance that it is, is because once we have one boot here, Romanov & Rogue hold four out of seven votes between them. If they are cool with each other (and they should be) there is no reason for them to target each other. They stick together for this one boot and they can be the last two standing in this tribe. Unfortunately, I think both of Logan & Roro are probably fine with that happening, each believing they'd be third in that set-up. No idea who really would be. Banner is likely less comfortable with that, but we're just two votes. Even if I wrangled all of Banner/Roro/Logan and myself together somehow - why would they be willing to go to a 4-4 vote tie where they confirm to the two ladies why they shouldn't be third in that set-up I mentioned before? Nope. Not happening. And pushing it would lock me in as the boot here 100% instead of the 90% right now. I just wish someone would bring up the back-up plan to my boot sooner rather than later. I can't be the one to be pushing names first here. If that's not something that's going to rear it's head until very close to the challenge time, I'm going to need the most amount of time to work it as possible. Meaning I'm sitting here fingers crossed that tonight is only a double boot and we grab a tribal immunity from it. That would give me a full day between a name dropped and figuring out what to do with that. |

Yup. And there just is nowhere to get numbers from with these Tesseracts doing the rounds. Gotta win. |

Important PMs to sift through. So knowing full well I'm the target once we hit a quad or lose a double, Romanov says she's gonna throw that challenge to give me a better chance at "forcing" their hand to vote for someone who's not me. Rogue then is starting to talk about a me / her / Romanov / Banner foursome maybe. I expect that's just her covering herself in case I do pull out an immunity win, but maybe Romanov is legit and maybe I do that. And then maybe by this time the day afterwards that foursome becomes a reality instead of just a pacifier. it's not much. But it's a glimmer. I still need that immunity win, by hook or by crook. |

Also Romanov claims she didn't go for the doubler. Which would be odd but easily disprovable so why lie? She also kinda implied that she is closer to Banner and not all that much to Rogue, which is much harder to disprove and I really don't believe. I desperately want to believe it though  |
