Pearblossom nods mutely, her ears flat. "Sorry 'bout making you jump in the frog pond." She continues in the small voice from before. |

The little foal hugs her back, her pouffy mane tickling Peach's muzzle. They trot down the stairs together, where Jubileena is waiting for them, wearing a large straw hat with flowers in it. "Alright my little fillies! Off we go." She holds the door open for them. Next post streets |

Peachblossom hears her sister sigh as she trots upstairs. Auntie Jubileena looks after the foal and frowns, shaking her head. "Come now, Peachblossom, let's get these flowers planted. If you want to get those tulips to sprout they'll need to get a good start!" Jubileena tells Peach. (She has balanced the flowers and pots on a tray her back.) |

"Thankyou, Peach." Jubileena nods approvingly at the helpful actions. They trot through to the garden. |

Peach carefully reads the package of the tulips wanting to make sure she puts them in the right depth and the right distance apart. She glances at the house wondering if Pear was still sulking |

The packet of tulips actually do not have instructions. In the more rural village the earth ponies have not had the business sense to create standardised product packaging it seems, unlike in her native Manehatten. When they give a pony a packet of tulip seeds that is exactly what she gets, with no frills to help the novice city-pony gardener. As she looks towards Pear's window she does indeed notice her sulking sister laying her snout on her hooves and looking out of the window towards Peach. When she notices Peach looking the foal turns her snout away. Peach's patch of garden is set out for her. Her auntie deposits the flowers next to it. "I'll just get the watering can and trowel." Aunt Jubileena offers, and trots towards into the house. |

Peach thinks for a few moments and decides to try 10 cm down and 10 cm apart do to the plants being tall but thin along with remembering seeing tulips growing close together. She continues on to the other plants doing her best to space them out by memory of other gardens. |

While Peach is arranging the seeds her auntie digs little holes for the tulips seeds and other plants to lie in. Soon there is a neat array of plants and seeds. Her auntie holds the trowel in her mouth, but has left the watering can to one side. |

Peach takes up the can after getting the seeds in the soft welcoming earth and starts to water them careful not to drown any of the seeds afraid they will root in the ground. |

Peach focuses hard on her work and soon all the seeds are tended to. The seeds sit firmly within their damp, warm dirt nests. The action makes the earth pony in her rejoice and she feels a faint tingle from the cutie mark on her flank - a feeling she has gotten used to since she realized her passion was also her destiny. "Well! An excellent job I must say." Aunt Jubileena's voice interrupts Peach's brief reverie; Peach might discern for the first time a tone of genuine respect in the older mare's address. |

The seeds are planted in perfect array. Peachblossom should be proud of such an effort. Maybe it is the earth-pony soil, maybe it is luck, or maybe it is her aunt's blessing, but she has never sowed such a perfect garden. |

Peach hugs her aunt in a moment of over powering emotion. But she seems a bit disappointed she really wished that Pear was down here to share this moment with her |
