Sketch immediately starts eating, while going over what the day has left in store for him. "Let's see, I've got some time before I head to Fluttershy's cottage with Pinkie, then I plan to go to Carrot in the evening to hear about that job she has for me. Wow, that sounds less time-consuming that it actually is." Sketch thinks. |

Sketch trots into his cottage and munches on his wholesome carrots. They are extremely juicy carrots. |

"Wow! These are wonderful! These are undoubtedly the best carrots I've ever eaten!" Sketch mentally gushes. |

With the delicious carrots finally eaten Sketch feels full for the first time in a while. From his little cottage the bustle of Ponyville is a distant hum. The heavy thudding sound of bucking comes from the orchard. All around is the sound of wildlife. In the distance a school bell rings. |

The picture is visible from where he is sitting and he levitates it over. It's not quite finished yet, but is looking to be one of his best pieces yet! There are a few areas for improvement. The Sky seems to be missing something... something he's been aware of ever since coming to Ponyville. Also the trees of the orchard seem to want something more, some sign of life. Sketch ponders. |

"What could bring out the best in this picture? Something living, perhaps, but what? Maybe birds, possibly. Birds flying from their nests, ready to start the day." Sketch says, mulling the decision over. |

Birds would fit in the picture certainly. A fruit eating bird perhaps, over the orchard? But were there other creatures in the air next to the new pony village he'd just moved to? It was hard to put a hoof on it. Young birds setting off from the nest would do though, the area was bursting with new life. |

Sketch decides on a nest. If he wants to paint from reality he'll have to go outside though since he can't see any nests from the window to his cottage. |

"Better head outside, though. I'll need to see those nests to paint them." Sketch realizes, before grabbing his supplies and heading outside. |

Sketch feels the noon-day sun on his fur. It feels good to be outside :3 The shadows of pegasi pass overhead, the heavy beat of their wings audible even at a distance. He quests around for a nest, but irritatingly there are none obvious from here either. Perhaps if he ventured into the orchard? |

As Sketch approaches the orchard the dull thudding of apple-bucking sounds closer to his perky pony ears. Before long he hears the tell tale sound of birdsong. As he trots towards the sound he trots into a clearing. Unfortunately his hoof snaps a piece of dry wood underneath and the birds scatter he also encounters a long, flowing pink tail sprouting from a bush. There are a few nests in the trees though. |

"Oh, darn it!" Sketch says, his search for nests becoming more difficult. "Hello?" Sketch says to whoever is in the bush. |

Sketch's search for a nest has born nest-fruit. His nest quest is over. The tail, however, presents more of a challenge. It flutters at him, but offers no response other than a barely audible squeak. |

"hi" Replies the tail... possibly, it was quite hard to make it out from the tiny high pitched sounding squeak. |
