Is it just me, or is the game bordering on unplayable? Like, I could deal with the "WHOAMG" levels of spam from Berserkers, and the way most Shadow Assassin players jump dash 24/7... or I could, if my connection was stable. For whatever reason, even when my connection is perfect doing anything else, Lost Saga is the one game where it is, without fail, always like "Nope" every single time. I had the problem on the old LS, aaaand that problem carried over here. But my question is, why? I have a wireless connection, so some may say right off the bat that I have a death wish. I've seen people say to move my laptop as close as possible to the signal. Did that, to the point where I was literally sitting right next to the damn thing to see if it made any difference. It didn't. THEN I saw some people say that getting a wired connection would improve everything. Nope. Plugged that sucker in, but to no improvement. Still the same ol' one red bar. Is there anything else I could try at all to get those damn bars up? I just wanna play, but at this rate the only thing I'll be able to do in the game is fish or relic hunt. Any suggestions? |

If its not your internet speed itself then its just the wireless connection. Ive tried speedtesting my laptop compared to my desktop, it was like 8mb/s compared to 35mb/s That's just my opinion. Edited by Nari, Apr 14 2013, 06:04 AM.

Yeah, Lost Saga is the only game I have a problem with in terms of ping, at least on this laptop. Though my PS3's connection is the worst... But yeah, regarding only computer games, this is the only one that is nigh unplayable. Even Rumble Fighter isn't that bad for me compared to Lost Saga. Anything I could do to improve the wireless connection besides what I've already done? |

I have this little device that boosts my wireless connection. I have no idea how it works, tho, all I know it's a little white device and it makes my wireless more stable. |

i think its because the server location has changed also thereis still less packet loss when the connection to your router is wired instead of wireless |

Huh, I have about the same ping as I did in OGPLS, if not better than before, which is weird because their servers were actually hosted closer to me than WeMade's. |

I've heard several NA players complain about this. Weirdly enough, I don't see everyone lag and I have no swap lag ._. It doesn't make any sense, my connection isn't even that good. |

Alright after playing for a quite while im pretty sure its the servers.. I have a higher chance of hitting EU players than people in NA. |

Doesn't WeMade take latency issues very seriously? |

The thing is though, the latency issues I don't think ARE on their end... At least most the time. Until Yesterday I was playing perfectly lag free until I came across EUs, Indos, BRs, and KRs. I think it's the fact there's so many foreigners connecting to the game at once that they actually outnumber the native NA playerbase so the server is adapting more to their connection perhaps then our own? Just an idea here... Although probably false. |

My own alt lags to me and my irl friends have tick marks, the west coasters that I knew before who got 4-5 bars now get 3-4 and I get 1-2 instead of 2-3 (and a rare 1). Didn't happen in ogp LS so I doubt it's the NA's. But it's obt so meh, they'll fix it later I'm sure. |

They do it all the same, sadly. Most rationalize, "YOU INVADE US AND RUIN OUR GAME, WE RUIN YOUR GAME". That's pretty much a direct translation. Edited by SwRRt, Apr 18 2013, 12:19 PM.
