Love is an emotion you feel for someone. A strong feeling. A feeling so strong it can affect your entire life. Love isn't just a normal feeling like being happy or sad; you'll normally only feel it for a couple people in your entire life. However, it is a long lasting emotion. When you love someone, it's because that person is special to you. They're a person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Love is feeling like that person is THE person you were meant to meet. You'll want to share in those persons joys, and help them through their rough patches. Love is also indescribable. It is an emotion. Everything I have said could just be a few persons definition of it. To end my post, love is lots of things, depending on the person. OR If you are of a scientific mind, love is a chemical reaction in the brain. |

Love is essentially a passionate drive towards the enjoyment of another person or thing. When you love something or something, you want to be around them to bask in that sensation of love. Scientifically, you tend to fall in love with people who are biologically good for you to breed with. This means it's completely bullmakeup that there is such as a thing as "True Love", as you'll very likely find more than one person that is a perfect breeding partner within your life, but only have access to one or two of them. This is often the problem in relationships wherein the bodies are chemically attracted to one another from the start, but as the years go on the psyche becomes aware that(while a good match for breeding) the person doesn't satisfy you emotional or mentally. Love is an easy thing to predict or control much like any emotion. You can easily force yourself to love someone and it is no different than those "And then I saw her standing in the hallway and I knew she was the one" stories. This is one of the major fallacies with some notions like "stockholm syndrome"; There's nothing that actually makes that kind of love illegitimate. Initially, I didn't love Pinkie. Rather I decide to love her because she was the most logical choice. I realized that I could not find a better girl, and she already was in love with me, so I went with it. Another misconception is that Love is Illogical. It's not. The reality is that Love can be a very logical decision for the maintenance of one's psyche through having someone who appreciates you, much like having fans. It also can allow you to feel attached to them and strive to impress them, much like a large-scale project, effectively improving yourself in the process. There's really nothing more to love. Everything else is individual. For some people, Love means you want to touch every part of their body. For others, it means you only want to touch them in the best way and no way else. For some, it means making them smile all day. For others, it means beating them and seeing how beautiful they look when destroyed. |

I guess love is finding someone who ends up growing old with you. Like a partner or something. |

Love is a sentiment of personal appreciation of another person, this can take many forms. Love can manifest itself for a friend, it can manifest itself for a beloved one, it can manifest itself for one whom you end up loving, love can manifest anywhere, anyhow and can change anytime. Liking someone would be finding someone pleasant to be around. Love would be either amorous or a profound sentiment of sorts for another person. Physical attraction can be mistaken for love easily. Love of a friend, Love of a family member, Love of someone important, Love of a beloved. N/a Love is not a necessity, however it is necessary for certain people. N/a |

*shrugs* Honestly I only recently figured out mine (pieces->Aquarious) But I've heard about how all that jazz is mostly baloney. Something that strikes me as interesting is the origin of Tarot cards-this is probably me being horribly wrong, given that it feels more based in rumor... But essentially, the playing cards we're familiar with, Heart, Diamond, Spades, and Clubs? Actually are Tarot cards known as the 'minor Arcana'. (They also used to have different names though Swords, Wands, Coins and Cups or something like that, if I recall them right...Can't be sure though!) The 'major Arcana' is what most people think of when they think of the term 'Tarot' Cards- The Emporer, the World, so on and so forth. Now these seem to basically be artifical 'instant mythos emblems' anyone can come and design meanings for...Which might be why most people don't really know or get how they work or what they do- too many conflicting stories and interpretations! |
