---Day 13, 1:20PM--- "Saber, stop screwing around. We have a celebration party to get to!" "Hahaha. That faith in me is a lovely change." "What will you do now, Saber. You underestimated where my speed came from." "No, I didn't. You have the ability to augment your speed exponentially. But you're also no fool and wait patiently for my attacks to counter them properly. A true knight of aristocrats." "Tormented, were you?" "I suppose, but Saylest herself could be called an Aristocrat, and I do not begrudge her. No, what bothers me is that overly clean presence known best in Aristocrats. Unwilling to dirty their hands." "What makes you believe them all to be the same?" "I do not. And I am no fool. Your ability to draw mana from nature is impressive, but not unnoticed. Right now you are drawing from my reailty marble. A shame I cannot poison it for you." "It seems you won't let me stall any longer then?" "Hahaha. No, but I do appreciate your cleverness. An opponent not too weak, not too arrogant, not impatient, not merely fortunate, nor one relying on trickery or confusion. Lancer, you are as true a Knight as I can recognize." "I don't know about that, but I'll accept the compliment if you like." "Do that. I am merely content to have a worthwhile final opponent. Not someone to loathe or pity, but someone to merely beat." Lancer's body seems to brace itself downward. "I think you're getting the short end of the stick then. Afterall, my opponent is the great Servant Saber." "Ah, how true. Would that our classes were reversed. Be that as it may, I've allowed you to stall long enough. I'm going to kill you now, Lancer. Be on your best guard." "I have been the entire time." "Jack!" The Ace of Hearts flips off her shoulder and is thrown into the air as Saber disappears. "King!" The Jack of Spades appears and crashes against Lancer's Lance. The Lance spins her her hand and the winds release as Lancer and Saber leap apart. "Queen!" The Queen of Hearts, the two blades given by bushido brown, appear as winds rip around Lancer and lightning is deflected off his Lance. They're knocked out of her hand as she flips under Lancer. "King!" The crimson Red King of Hearts appears and melts through Lancer's short sword he drew to deflect it. But his lance clashes with the blade next and flips it out of Saber's hands. Saber catches the lance tip in her hand as the spinning motion tears at the flesh on her palms. "Jack! Queen!" The blue and brown leather whips wrap around them both and start to electrify them. Lancer pulls out a small dagger on a rope and moves to cut them as they disperse once more to prevent them from being ruined. "Ace!" The golden mace reappears in her hands and strikes down at point blank range between both of them into a golden roar of fire and explosions. At that range, there's no doubt they both take some small damage. Lancer leaps out of the smoke first and his lance glows as he prepares it an aims it at various points in the smoke. Even from here I can tell he can't tell where she is, so he's just waiting for her to come out of the smoke or for it to lighten up. The smoke starts...moving though. Spinning...Growing...And then in an instant it clears and saber is nowhere to be seen. Lancer turns, and turns again, and turns once more. He can't find her. And then the wind comes back in full force and pushes him to the ground, as the Jack and Queen of Clubs wrap around him and electrify him. He finally cuts them off to ruin them once and for all... "J o k e r" The scythe comes down with such force that it creates shockwaves in it's wake as it cleaves straight through Lancer's body and out again. The shockwave condenses itself, unable to move from the sheer pressure...and then erupts outward at all of us. Berserker had to hold Penkay and Lilian to keep them from flying off. "...How?" "The first Jack I called was my Jack of Hearts, it grants flight. When I called it, I was setting a place to hold the Ace of Hearts and myself once the smoke obscured your vision." "...Why did you think...that would work?" "You are a knight of polished metals and aristocrat's bidding. A gentleman. I did not expect you to be accustomed to such dirty battlefields. My difficult life meant my eyes make little trouble with such smoke and winds, but for a true knight of the upper class, you did not have that advantage." "That was...a great plan...Servant Saber." "You are the only servant whose true identity I do not know. Do you care to share it?" "Do you...?" "...I am Heart Card. When you return to the throne of heroic spirits, you will be able to learn easily who I was." "In the throne of spirits...I would have all the time to figure it out...even if you didn't tell me." "And of your name?" "Martholomule." "A fine name for a fine gentlemen. Have you any words to depart to us? Or momento to empart to your master?" "That girl...wasn't meant for this war. She doesn't need a...grah...Momento of me." Saber holds Lancer in her arms as he chokes out blood from between his lips. The cut was all the way through his chest, it's quite visible. But his body...won't split in two for some reason. "I tried to compensate for that...But...Maybe I was wrong." "I did the same at first. But in the end, I would have lost long ago if not for Saylest. My arrogance is too great to be left unchecked, much as yours." Lancer's feet sparkle and begin to disperse from his body as glows of mana. "Yeah...I guess we're all like that. Great heroes, who needs to help regular people?...Right?..." "We're not that conceited. We just expect to protect them, do we not?" He's completely gone from the waist down. "Ah...So that's what it was..." His lance disperses and his torso follows. "Yeah, that sounds...about right..." "Goodbye, Knight Lancer." His hands disappear and his head goes next. "Goodbye, Knight Saber." ---Day 13, 1:30PM--- Saber slowly begins walking back to me. She seems...so calm. "Is it over?" "Yes, Saylest. It is over." "So what now?" Saber cracks her neck. "Well unless you want to fight her for it, now the Grail belongs to Saylest and Saber." "What do you think, Berserker? I'm all weakened and drained, shall you finish me off?" "Are you wanting to kill me? I'm not that stupid." "No, I've done more than enough killing for awhile. I am content with this last fight. It was...As good as it could be I suppose." I stretch my arms out and drop them on Saber's shoulders. "Saylest, I need to get back to Richter." "Yeah. Go for it." Esmere starts to walk away. "Hey, Esmere." "Yes?" "I'll fix Richter for you. It's no problem, just keep him off my back for me?" Esmere smiles. I think if she weren't so emotionally repressed by her duties in Alondite, she'd have a good laugh to go with it. "Thank you. We'll stay out of your hair...We have a lot to take care of." And she leaves. She leaves to head to Richter, whom himself is busy explaining why Alondite is evil to his fellow Alondite soldiers. Sucks to be them. "Alright then. Cookie, we're heading back." "Okaaaaaay!" "Saylest, Saber. I'll be waiting for you. Come by when you're ready for those wishes." "We'll be right behind you. Merely taking the scenic route." And then they leave. "Can I go!? I wanna seeee!" "Not adviseable. It is unclear how a fully powered grail will react to the presence of multiple masters or servants. I advise only Saylest and Saber go." "Caster is right. There's no point giving up my wish if the grail devours me just because Saber is being granted a wish." "Daaawww that's no fun!" "I'd rather not risk it myself. It may look nice, but I don't really benefit from seeing it." Viorica shrugs her shoulders and starts walking to our car. "So just us, huh?" "Seems that way." "T-technically...I'm not a master or a servant..." I pat Lilian on the head. I have a good idea what to do with this girl. Or rather, what to make Richter do to her. That'll keep'em both happy. "Well, Saylest, are you ready?" "No." "...Huh?" "I have to be sure of one thing first." I get up in Saber's face. "Y-yes?" "What is...Your Wish?" "...Hahahah. Don't be silly." I grab her tit through her ripped up shirt and twist. "Answer me!" ENDING: TRUE ENDING She pushes my hand off and moves it to her cheek instead. "I will wish to be your servant eternally bound. As now as Forever, Saylest. No Command Seals, no contract, but no need to fear of mana supplies." I take my hand off her cheek and put my face there instead. "...Thank you..." "No...Thank you, Saylest." "She is disappointed in your wish, Saber. She is crying." "No silly! Those are tears of joy! Like when you're being tickled! Watch!" And in the background of this warm hug between Saber and I, I hear the painful unexplored laugh of the loli caster being tickled to death by Penkay. And it can't ruin this moment. Nothing truly could. "This is all I've wanted. This was my wish." "...Yes, Yes. You have done well." ---Day 13, 1:40PM--- The car ride to the Overseer is a strange one. Just me and Saber. Everyone deciding to wait patiently in my room. Once we both get there. I'm sure it'll be everyone. Caster, Lilian, Viorica, Berserker, Penkay, Richter, Esmere, heck maybe Emilia and Cookie will come back with us to celebrate. It'll be a real party. "That reminds me though." "W-what's up?" "Goodness, you're still all teared up?" "You gonna...Tell me to stop?" "No. I'm happy for us." "So what's the question?" "Your giddiness aside, we know what my wish will be. What about yours?" ... "Huzzwat?" "Your wish, Saylest. Both Master and Servant get their own wish. What will your wish be." I stop the car a little bit before the bridge. "...pffft..." "SHUT UP!" "You really! You really! You forgot! Ahahahaha!" I grumble loudly as I sink in my seat. "I HAD A LOT ON MY MIND!" "I'm too short to count as a lot." "Hraaaf!' "That's not a word." "Shut your tiny face!" She does...partially. She's still snickering. God I can't believe I didn't put any thought into this. What is my Wish? I mean come on this is so easy. It's a wish. It's ANYTHING I want. But I just want saber. But I'm already getting saber. Wow this totally sucks. I have nothing to wish for! ~FINAL CHOICE~ ~Saylest's Wish~ This is an Open-Ended choice.
