This game was a very pleasant surprise. I was just looking for a three player game for my Wii U.

So The Cave is this living bean to you must go through. You get your choice of seven wacko murders who are out for revenge, treasure, fame, ect. Each character gets a unique power and stage. You go through the cave with three, so you'd need to go through at least three times to see everything, which adds to the replay value.

The Cave is a platform puzzle game. You run around garbing different objects and seeing how you can interact with things in The Cave to proceed. Remember each character gets their own unique stage so at some point your powers will also become necessary. The problem is that some of the levels will repeat and it's frustrating that the game will force you go back and forward through a level, even if you're doing everything 100% correct and you know what you're doing.

You either control three people or you get friends to control the other two. Your characters will need to split up so you can switch if you're playing alone.

Often the best thing in this game is the comedy. The Cave and a majority of the people you run into provide laughs. Even the art you unlock in this game provide a funny story if you can find each piece for each character.

This game has some glitching problems. The solution is using the suicide command. No one dies in this game. Normally you may think the game is screwing you but if you get far off sometimes you'll die and the game will take you back to where you need to go.

It's not the best platformer out there but The Cave provides a good time and it has replay value. The glitches aren't that bad. It's not a must have but I do recommend giving it a try.

I give this game a 8/10.
