I know Laurie started working on both Atreyu and Rose before I left. Laurie told me and I could tell that they were at least listening to her because both Atreyu and Rose brought up Laurie to me before I was voted out. I think Laurie worked her way in as an option (she had a talent for that) and when she won that immunity I think given that Rose and Atreyu were close it was game over for you. The question I would be asking is what if Laurie hadn't won immunity...what if Atreyu or Rose had...what would have happened then? Logically I would think that Laurie would have gone...but this is Survivor...and Laurie is very good...so who knows. |

I agree, Apollo. Rose and Atreyu were telling me that if Laurie didn't win, we all would vote her out. Atreyu was telling me if Laurie won, we'd vote out Rose, and Rose was telling me if Laurie won, we'd vote out Atreyu. So, Rose and Atreyu had me thinking it was Laurie and Laurie thinking it was me. If Laurie hadn't won, I'd have voted for her without blinking an eye. So the question is who would they have voted for. Those two were playing a pretty sneaky game, and I actually love it. IF Laurie set this all up, I'd maybe vote for her. The problem is that is yet to be seen. |

However, if I had won immunity, I would have voted WITH Laurie to force a tie against Rose. The only problem is, I can't win immunity in these games. |

A-LISTER Hands down who I think deserves to, and want to, win this game ![]() I've touted his game since I arrived here. I've loved watching it unfold and I am rooting for him to win and there is no close second. Most of all, I admire how in-tune he was with everything going on and was very patient and subtle with how he maneuvered. He explicitly told me at the merge that he was going to sit back and let other egos clash and other players blow up their own game - that's exactly what he did. I know I never would have had the patience to play that way, and it makes me admire it even more. He could be in danger tonight depending on Laurie and her mindset - if she wins immunity, would she take the bigger threat to the end with her? B-LISTERS ![]() I like her game a lot more than Trip, but a lot less than the rest of my Bonsai brethren save Wes. She's done a lot right, and I can more than respect her immunity wins. Those do count in her favor, and that is a part of this game. I think she will win immunity tonight - I mean why not? - and her decision will win or lose her this game in my opinion. If she cuts Atreyu, that's a BIG move. Will she pull it off? Loyalty or strategy Laurie, what will it be? ![]() I actually have grown to like her game a bit more with each passing round. Do I think luck played a bigger role in her game than the other two? Absolutely. But she still showed a lot of skill in taking her position and making it this far. She's very aware, more so than I initially gave her credit for. Could it be, just like the Titanic, Rose is the only Survivor? It's possible, and that's more than I would have said a few days ago. |

My mind has changed a bit. Between Rose and Atreyu, I don't think I have enough information to know who played a better game. I actually am starting to think they tag-teamed the entire merge.. worked as a pair but tried to make it seem like they weren't. I can't be sure who did what, but I know Rose seemed to be working on Wes while Atreyu worked on me. That's good stuff. As far as Laurie goes, I think she utilized her fallen comrades the best, and that is starting to make me like her more. Rose basically insulted me. She doesn't know who I am or what I have accomplished in the past, and she is actually wrong about how far you can go with my strategy, so that turned me off. Atreyu kind of just didn't want to talk about me at all, which I found weird. I thought he voted me out for strategic reasons, but if it was all about me not being honest, that makes me rethink his thought process as well. |

In Atreyu's defense, I don't think it was your vote he was courting - I think it was everyone else's. Basically, everyone you "betrayed". Since most of us are likely to be huge Laurie fans, that kind of clinches it for me as to who he wants to sit next to at FTC, and it ain't Laurie. And Trip, I think you're definitely right about the two of them having worked together a long time, possibly since before the merge. If so, both of their games raise several notches in my eyes - they played both the strong Votes Under the Canvass game, AND a strong loyalty game. Huge props, if it's true. |

I agree. Atreyu probably already thinks he has my vote. I made that pretty clear the night I got voted off. The only person that really lost points with me was Rose. But she also gained points just as I was going over things in my mind. At this point, any of them could get my vote. I'm really out in the open. I want to make sure I vote for the person I really feel played the best game. |

I don't understand why either of your are surprised or dismayed they'd be working together. They were both allied on Krypton, and then with Buttercup, and then had F3 with Lucy. They were the only two besides me to be blindsided by her ouster. I knew they were pair, and I courted them as a pair when I tried to flip the game my round. I do still think Atreyu was way more in touch with what was going on and way better at subtly controlling the game. Rose played her part, but Atreyu was the ring leader. |

Rose and Atreyu were close back on New Krypton so I think they just naturally got closer as the game proceeded. I think they felt left out of a lot of plans so made their own.

I think it is safe to say - FTC will be great no matter who is sitting there. I do also think Laurie did the best with her Fallen Comrades. She put in some effort with each and every player, and actually had a pretty decent assessment of my own game. |

Who said anything about dismay? I was just making an observation, and I think Trip was, too. |
