Wes I always wanted to keep you at that point. My thought process was that you and I were still friendly, I knew that others in the game would want to target you so I saw no advantage to try to take you out on Bonsai. Romeo was much more a danger to me in my mind. After we took out Max...you were completely safe on Bonsai (I think). |

As I see it, Trip's game is simple, but very difficult to pull off. While I'm not excited about the prospect of possibly voting for him at FTC, I have a lot of respect for his skill at manipulating pretty much everybody he ever talked to or worked with. And from what I've heard here and elsewhere, those to are one and the same. His game is a simple process of eliminating groupings from within. He gets inside a group, uses the information he gleans there to determine the most effective target and to get inside the next group. He flips on the first group, which gets him deep inside the second. Identify new group. Flip. Rinse/Repeat. Basically, he breaks down alliances until none exist except whichever one he himself creates. Every alliance he gets into gives him the power to break it. And from what I've seen, he's been doing this from day one. He did it with me, Dan and Apollo in Bonsai. He did it to Lucy's group, and then to Romeo. He did it to our four by casting down on the twos within that four. And, just tonight, he did it with Wes. But the only reason it worked is because he's highly skilled at creating fear. He's basically a phobophage. |

Romeo, question for you: Were you really on your phone the entire first week? You always had perfect punctuation, grammar, and spelling - while sending pretty long and detailed messages. That seems really hard to do on a phone. I know I struggle to send even short messages on my iPhone - let alone longer ones. And your style didn't change at all once you got back home. Just curious...because something seemed suspicious about that. |

Ha! Yeah, Dan, you and I talked about that at the time. I'm still wondering... |

wow, yeah honestly now that we're talking about it, trip was great at that. Laurie told me that he said I was after her. I never realized it. I guess none of us did because he made it seem like you were the only one he was "feeding secret info to". brilliant now that I'm thinking about it. |

It's funny to think how screwed he would have been had I not told Juliet at the last minute to vote Johnny. He would have been outed essentially. I was 100% legitimately on my phone, and only my phone, not only the entire first week of the game - but also the Thursday night we merged and the entire Thursday at F9 where I left. My style DID change once I got back, you just weren't around to witness it. We swapped like 3 days after I returned from my vacation and July 4th. And what can I say, I'm anal about punctuation and grammar. It wasn't a ploy. Trust me. I still think I was at a huge disadvantage because I wasn't around much when the game was completely open. I mean look how fast your relationships and bonds formed. |

I was pretty much done with him after his explanations to me about the Lucy boot. Like I said, I distrusted him after the Max boot, but I always felt like he'd view me as an asset, not expecting him to just toss me away, especially after New Jedi. But I still didn't fully trust him, and I had really abandoned trying to work with him at that point. I mean my plan was me + you + Atreyu + Rose and Laurie....and maybe Max, but we thought, at the time, it was a real crap shoot with him. I was done with Trip at that point and if I had survived that round. |

It was definitely a disadvantage for you, Romeo, and I tried to find a way to mitigate that for you. I'd like to think that I might have succeeded had I not gotten voted out by Tri-- by my Bonsai Brothers.

max, what was the alliance that you were forming before the tribes were made? or was that a rumor? |

Me, Laurie, Dan and Adrian. But the rumor was apparently deeper than that: that I'd formed multiple alliances all over the place. I made as many friends as I could, because I knew that I had no idea where I'd wind up once tribes were selected, but that was the only alliance. |

Wes our conversation we had the night after Romeo was voted out was 100% honest on my part. I really wish we had that conversation sooner. I don't think Trip was happy that I was being that honest with you though. I know now he didn't want us talking too much, lol. |

Wes for large portions of the game you frustrated the hell out of me (especially the portions where you were constantly trying to target me, lol) but I always liked you. Couldn't help myself.
