Exactly. I knew that I could find a way to work with you for one more vote, Romeo, if I needed to. Even if I had to throw Trip under the bus to do it (but I wouldn't have unless I figured that Trip was going after me or had somehow seemed cagey), I could have found a way to keep you from upsetting the plan to get the Four to F7, or at least I felt I could. There was no way I could keep Rose there. She talked about being OK with a F5 or F4 position, and that's when I knew she was lying her ass off.

If Laurie and you had come through for me that round - I would have ridden it out with you most likely. Like I said, even though it wasn't reciprocated, when I was on vacation at the beginning of the game, you were the one I liked the most. I was actually excited to see you come back in. We were just pitted against each other by savvy players. |

Romeo, when you were on vacation, you were the player I liked the most. When you came back, I felt you weren't as interested in working with me as you seemed when you were on vacation. And the reason I didn't push it is because people wanted you gone. Maybe Max didn't, but Max wasn't the only player involved, and I didn't want to risk people thinking I was "protecting" you. |

In all honesty, Romeo, you were always backup for me. Your late arrival and limited activity at the beginning of the game hurt your position a lot. Even the fact that you were the only Bonsai that didn't vote for me the first time did too little to upset that perception of mine. The fact that you were allied with people I knew I wasn't going to be able to work with didn't help, of course... if Trip hadn't named you after the Lucy vote, that might have been a different sitch, but hindsight, y'know? |

Apollo has already said that he wanted me gone because you suggested it to him. I won't be able to know until the boards open up, but I would hedge my bets my fate was sealed because people thought I was who you wanted gone. I became skeptical of you on Bonsai after the Max vote. It may not have been your brain child but you were the one to really explain it to me. Your explanation was strategically sound but it set off alarms and red flags as to what an aggressive player you were. It also made me keenly aware I was on the outs and that Wes was being protected. That tribe was an enigma to me. I just never felt comfortable or had a good read on it. However, I went into New Jedi with my main focus being to forge a closer bond with you. And I thought the Johnny boot was the cement I needed. Speaking of which, by the Comrades comments - we made a great move. |

And that's unfortunate. The reason I was the one that explained it to you the most was because I was the only one that really wanted to work with you. Nobody was protecting Wes. That vote was entirely to stop that alliance. Apollo should have let it be, because he was sitting third. LOL. |

I knew I was an after thought to you. Despite your extreme eloquence and words, you came across very cold and analytical to me. I was really never counting on you that round even though we were both going through the motions. My main focus was on Laurie. I know that was when Rose and Atreyu both started picking it back up with her too. I take a little twisted pride in that, ha. |

Romeo, I agree with you there. I always knew I was an afterthought with Max too. The way he told me, after I informed him that Apollo was with Buttercup, that "That's not good. Apollo was a major part of my plans." It just made me so frustrated, because it's like saying I was NOT. |

Now ladies, you're both very special and unique flowers. I love you both equally. ![]() Romeo, you weren't an afterthought, you were a backup. That means you were important, just not on the inside of my main group. You were there in case my main group betrayed me, at which point I would have made every effort to bring you close and have the same kind of relationship I had with Dan and Apollo. And that's not semantics. It's a very distinct difference. An afterthought is something that was never really very important, not even considered until after the main thought. You were part of my consideration from the moment we first talked on Bonsai. The timing sucked for us, but the possibility was always there, and I wanted to nurture it. Trip, when you came over with the Lucy vote was when I first decided we could really work together. Before that, I was still stuck on the idea that you posed more of a threat than a benefit. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated you working to pry Dan away from Buttercup, but I also kinda thought I knew why you'd done it - you were eliminating majorities. Since my game relied on building a majority, that made it hard to bring you in too close. Later, when you came in for the Lucy vote I'd forgotten all about that impression. So yes, at that time, you weren't a major part of my plans. It's my bad for actually giving you that impression - I should have been a lot more circumspect about that - but it was a fact nonetheless. |

I know. And when you finally wanted to work with me, I knew it. And it made me very excited. Wait until you see that confessional. I started it with the word "Eureka." LOL. The only reason I stirred up trouble after that is because I had to make sure you really wanted to work with me... and not Apollo/Dan. |

And that was almost a mistake. If Apollo and Dan really were planning a coup at F7 or F5, you'd have been with me and Laurie to F3. The reason it's "almost" is that Apollo and Dan really were loyal. Your ploy had me fooled just long enough to screw me. |

I'm just curious what Laurie would have done if you tried to vote me out at five. She claimed to me after you were voted out that she never had a final four with them and that you and me were the only two she had wanted to go to three with. |

So if they were loyal, I would have been voted out at final five? If that's the case, I don't see how you could possibly fault me for making any of the moves I made!!

My plan (and I think Apollo's too) was to vote either Trip or Max out at 5. I know I hadn't made up my mind on which was the best way to go. From the sound of it, Apollo or I may have even been in trouble that round. |
