See - I knew Rose was going to be around a long time precisely because of how the first three votes went down. A player with seemingly no options, and perceived to be harmless, is a player sticking around. I also knew Atreyu had reeled her in, probably before Lucy was gone - he had told me of that F3 in an effort to get closer with me and you at F10, when that alliance was still in existence. I don't think Atreyu really wanted for Buttercup or Lucy or even myself to go - he still adapted and never really played based on loyalty. In some ways, his game was a much more laid back version of yours Trip. I do believe he wanted to work with me at F9, but he tested the waters and saw there wasn't enough reward in going out on a limb. It's the patience I'm most impressed with. That's so hard in these games. |

I think he wanted to work with you too... but I don't think he really wanted to work with me. Every time you told me to talk to him, he really gave me no indication of that... probably because he knew about all the things I had told Lucy and Rose prior. I actually think the Buttercup and Lucy votes helped Atreyu more than it hurt him. |

I could argue it helped Rose. It made her more of a wild card and increased her value. |

But she was already being told final two by multiple people before that. She went from the top of the social pyramid to the bottom. Atreyu went from somewhere near the middle to somewhere a little higher in the middle. I think Rose used it to her advantage, yes. By acting like the helpless victim. But at the same time, I think she was better off before hand. I think, for instance, she went from being above Atreyu to being below him. That's not to say I think she deserves to win. I just think it's closer than people think... it is in my eyes... very close. |

I don't know about that. What do those promises really mean? Who knows. I had made a F2 with Atreyu PRIOR to Lucy leaving - and he was being very open and honest about what Lucy was telling him and what Apollo was telling him, etc. He wanted to skate by longer than he ultimately did because the Lucy vote forced him to. I think Atreyu could have done what Rose did but I don't think Rose could have done what Atreyu did, if that makes sense. He consciously sat in the middle of almost every alliance he was in and allowed them to explode and implode around him without himself ever becoming a target. Seriously, that's what blows me away most because it was so obvious how smart and well-thought out he was. And yet people always dismissed him - hell, they would even call him out and say he'd just stick with the majority and consciously allowed him to do that long enough until he controlled the majority. |

No - that makes sense. But Buttercup was also more firmly entrenched with Rose than she was with Atreyu. Atreyu told me that as soon as they came to Krypton - that Buttercup was with Rose and Marion in about 20 seconds. And that he had to play along with that. I think he was fine with it - but he knew he wasn't as close to Buttercup as Rose was. |

I see what you are saying. I think Atreyu played a more strategically sound game. But I think Rose played a better social game until the rug was pulled out from under her. Either way, this is a lot a conjecture at this point. We'll see after the game is over what really happened. I actually respect the games both of them played. |

I respect Rose's game a lot more than I did when I came to the jury, but I genuinely see Atreyu's game as one of the most impressive I've ever seen. |

Honestly - I think you give Rose more credit than she deserves. Atreyu was the mastermind there - she knew he was the only one she truly had left. She tried to make other connections (with Wes, Me, you...) But the difference - Atreyu would have made a change if it helped him. Rose never would have. She found someone that could keep her safe and hitched her wagon to it. And Atreyu protected her. All Rose really did was tell some people what they wanted to hear - that's about all she did the whole time on Krypton. |

I'm the opposite of Romeo - I respect Rose's game less than I did before I got here. |

I think our opinions are fairly similar. I think we both believe Rose was in the game because Atreyu wanted Rose in the game. |

I concur with that...Atreyu (on New Krypton) always seemed "saddled" with Buttercup...he knew he needed her but was looking for a way out. I know for a fact that Buttercup was closer to Rose than she ever was to Atreyu. |

ABSOLUTELY....which is why I am leaning towards Atreyu for the win. Rose needs to impress me in FTC for my vote. |
