tool goes here The U.S. Coast Guard pulled seven boaters to safety after a stalled boat capsized in high waves near Horn Island on Sunday night.

A 25-foot Coast Guard vessel out of Pascagoula was summoned to the scene about 8 p.m.

Two of the nine passengers on the approximately 22-foot boat had been taken onto the Coast Guard vessel when the stalled boat capsized and sent seven others overboard into waves about 6 feet high. All were quickly pulled to safety, but the boat sank, said Coast Guard Petty Officer Juston Wilcox, of Coast Guard Sector Mobile.

Coast Guard officials were still working on the case late Sunday night.
