Who's read this book? Or at least seen the movie? I'm a little bit addicted to it currently, despite a little bit of literary snobbery about it. If you didn't already know the Swedish title ("Män som hatar kvinnor", "Men who hate women"), what do you think of that? Considering it's so different from the English title! And for those of you who've seen the movie... isn't Noomi Rapace just ace? xD *fanboys quietly into his tea* The trailer can be found here (in English), if you're into crime cinema or just Swedish cinema generally and are thinking of checking it out. |

I bet the books are far better than the movies. I've seen 2 of the movies, and they are alright but for my own personal enjoyment they were... not my taste. They were too predictable for me.

I've read the first book, but I've been trying to get my hands on the second one because I loved it. It was amazing, and, while it took a little while to get the ball rolling (and I felt it slacked off a bit after the part where that CRAZY STUFF WENT DOWN) it was amazing. Though I am going to say - it could potentially be rather triggering for some people at certain parts, and, while I'm not going to mention specific parts in a thread so as not to give things away, there are points where sexual abuse and murder are described in some detail - so, y'know, just be wary of that.
