When signing up for a league at Ballaz,it is your responsability to play your games win or lose in a timely manner and follow all the rules at hand.We are a SIM league and its about having fun,failure to abide by rules or simply quitting may result in you never playing in another league at this forum.

GAMEPLAY RULES:
4TH DOWN RULE:
1-You can go for it if you are across your opponents 40 yard line within fourth and two.Anything else you have to punt.
2-You can go for it on 4th and goal from within the 5 yard line winning, losing, or tied during any quarter.
3-If you are down by 14 with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd,you can start going for it.
4-No fake punts or FGs,also no glitch blocking FGs/XPs.

OFFENSE:
1-No abusing the A.I.
2-Don't just call one pass play all game long,switch it up.
3-You can run the "no huddle" offense as long as you let your opponents team get set before you call hike,WHY?Because we can't control how fast our lineman get to the line and I don't want offside penalties winning you the game.Also,Limit your audibles(no huddle) to 1-2 a play so you don't mess up the defensive A.I.You can't run "no huddle"after an incomplete pass,and winning team cannot run no huddle in the 4th.
4-You can roll out with your QB either to the left or the right,don't just head for the sidelines waiting for the WR to break his route,you cannot drop back 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage waiting for a WR to get open,stay in the pocket,limit dropbacks to 5-10 yards unless your trying to escape a defender,QB sneaking is allowed.
5-You can usercatch but you cannot rocket/strafe catch,this is banned.
6-You can run the wildcat offense,just don't abuse it,maybe 4-5 times a game.
7-Don't abuse the WR screen pass,limit it too 4-5 a game.

DEFENSE:
1-No manually moving players all over the field to take advantage of the A.I.You are only allowed to move the player you are using on defense in a sim manner(this means a few feet here and there,not moving him outside the tackle and blitzing,You can use all of the defensive audibles.(linespreads,bump/run,LB spreads,etc)
2-Controlling Defensive Lineman-You cannot move him manually all over the place to get a better advantage abusing the pisspoor A.I. blocking,must use your line spreads,stunts,etc.,and you must trench fight w/ the Off. lineman,no looping.
3-Switch up the playcalling,don't call the same play over and over,playing sim is trying new things according to your opponent,not abusing the A.I.

2 POINT CONVERSION RULE:
You can go for 2pts only when you need them in a REAL situation and you can go for it to win a game at the end.Do what a real NFL team would do!The 2pt conversion must put you ahead or within 3pts,7pts of your opponents score,If you are down big,go for 2.

TRADING RULES:
1-When you make a trade,all trades must be posted here with cap points and both owners must agree here at the forum,if trade is accepted,I'll post it in processed trades.
2-All trades will go through at the beginning of each week,if any team involved in a deal has already played a game for that week,the trade will go through the following week.
3-Only 3 items per trade.
4-No stacking up on 1st,2nd round picks,the most you can have is 2 for 1st/2nd round,you can have 3 max in every other round 3-7.
5-All trades must be of close value within 3 points.
6-Each team is allowed to make 4 trades on the year.

90-99=10.......Age 33 and over=7
80-89=8.........Age 33 and over=5
72-79=6.........Age 33 and over=3
65-71=4.........Age 33 and over=2

FREE AGENT RULES:
1-We will meet in a chat room to bid on the Free Agents at the very start of the season to give everyone a chance at the top free agents,your cap room will decide how many points you have to spend.Example:Bears have a 19.8M cap,giving them 20 points to spend,Dolphins have a 10.9M cap,giving them 11 points,etc,etc.
2-I will allow 1 Free Agent pickup per week/per team,Owners must post at forum,Injuries are an automatic pickup.
3-Each team will be required to release 3 players at the end of each season,playoff owners/team must release one 80ovr and two 70ovr players,non-playoff owners/team must release three 70 ovr players.(Punters/Kickers not included).

DISCONNECTED POLICY:
1-If a game gets DCed and theres a score involved,owners will start another game and recreate the situation,example-bears 17,vikings 10 at the half and the game DCs,both owners will start another game and play the 1st half and combine the scores from both games,loser will have to quit the game and the winner has to finish the game so it records him the win.
SCHEDULING GAMES:
Scheduling is a 2 way street. Being available on IM is the most convenient method, but posting in the scheduling forum and checking that forum for posts from your opponent is the only way to document your effort to get the game in. Use the scheduling forum,Use aim,use the game,pm your opponent,etc,etc,etc...!
SPORTSMANSHIP:
Sportsmanship goes a long way so If you are winning big in the 4th,run the clock out within the rules,don't try and embarrass your opponent by calling timeouts and trying to run up the score,respect your opponent,however if you intercept a pass b/c your opponent is being stupid,by all means,take it to the house.
WARNING:
Owners will be replaced if they continue to break rules,are inactive,and disrespect other owners so lets keep it real and have fun.
