Though his hands roamed down her body and he did not put any distance between them, Nereida couldn't help but get the impression that Azure was doing it more for show than out of any real desire. Not like Matt, who had taken her invite and pressed his body against her back with all the heat she had hoped to receive from Azure. Just the same, she focused on dancing with both men, her butt grinding enticingly into Matt's crotch, while her breath tickled at Azure's neck, her hands running across his shoulders and down his back. She was just about to attempt a teasing nuzzle when the blue-haired rocker called over the music.

Aqua eyes blinked and Nereida turned to stare at the VIP tables Azure was pointing at. Though she was hot enough to get into clubs like this, she had never been in a position to go to a VIP table unless Ito was with her, and Ito had been rather busy as of late. Take this trip; while Eida was on the Moon checking out the local scene, Ito had taken the first opportunity to get off the ship as an opportunity to escape everything. This was indicative of most stops the LSS Serenity made and Ito's behavior. So while many might think being Ito's cousin and friend would lead to constant access to such VIP treatment, they were actually rather mistaken.

"Sounds great!" Nereida leaned in closer, her lips brushing against Azure's ear as she made her excitement about the table known. Not that she got to do more than speak to him, because he was swiftly pulling away and slipping through the crowd, leaving her and Matt behind. The expression on his face seemed all business, and Nereida could only frown with frustration.

'Well, fine. If he's not interested in having some fun, then I guess I'll have to enjoy the person who IS.' with Azure gone Nereida's focus shifted, instantly. She put the stand-offish rocker from her mind and turned, pressing tightly against Matt in the same fashion as she had pressed herself to Azure. The difference, of course, being that Matt actually wanted to dance with her like that!

Azure looked over at the tall, senshi suited girl. While she was tall, he was taller but her height was still impressive. She might actually be taller than Ito. Despite the danger, he couldn't help but think that it was probably hard for her to find clothes that fit right.

"I'm all up for getting the hell out of here," he said. "Teleport away or whatever."

Everything happened so fast - too fast. One moment, Adora was fighting as Neo Sailor Venus, wielding her whip like a top rate dominatrix, and the next a hand wrapped around her throat. Her skin froze and burned all at the same time as the icy hand lifted her into the air, closing off her throat. She couldn't breath. Could do nothing but kick out at nothing and grasp at the and on her throat. Tears burned in her eyes. This wasn't fun anymore.

Nariko was genuinely surprised that her timing was so perfect to capture one of the Phage's arms with her whip. Trying to hold as best she could, she was relieved that Venus went for the other arm. But it was hard to see how well they were doing. The smoke filling the club wasn't helping anything but she planted her feet and held on for dear life. She was expecting the creature to struggle and be jostled about with its struggles but what she didn't expect was for it to grow another pair of hands. Like it had with Venus, the new arm caught her by the throat, hoisting her into the air.

"Shit shit!" Ganymede cursed to himself as both Venus and Jupiter were now being strangled by the Phage.

"Help-" Jupiter gasped slowly. "-help her!"

Lin was highly confused by Nariko's request to help Venus instead of her but he soon found out why. The metal plates on the backhand side of Jupiter's gloves crackled and sparked as she willed energy to them. She had a feeling that she knew what they were for now! Raising one arm over the Phage's extended arm, rotating her arm so it was backhand side down, the clamped her hands together, sending electric shocks through the tentacle-like arm. The fact that the flesh under the metal pads was now smoking meant she was going for a high voltage charge and had no intent of stopping until she was free.

Ganymede was already moving closer to the creature's other arm. He had no idea what those thorns on his blade were for but he was about to find out! The phage would no doubt notice him soon so he had strike fast, leaping as high as he could to slash at the extended arm.

Annabelle watched with bright eyes as the fire hit the monster. She had a feeling that the senshi and their friends might actually win this fight with some ease. It would almost seem as if these green women where learning rather fast with everything. War did that to people if they wanted to survive.

She was about to turn and leave when the flood of smoke filled the room. Dammit! was all that she thought as a coughing fit started while she tried to cover her mouth with her hand. It did very little as the ashen air burned her lungs. She started to crawl away from her spot with the need of fresh air coming from every instinct. She coughed and dragged her body along the floor when the water came pouring down. Well this is a mix blessing. At least now I can get the hell out of here

The shout from the Phage caused Annabelle to turn around. Her eyes widen in horror as the things grew another set of arms. She froze as she watched tentacles wrap around the throats of the senshi. Her eyes glanced around the room, only to find that the closest exit was on the far side from her which meant going through the fight itself. She took a deep breath in as it seemed there was really only one option for her now. She ducked behind a pillar as the remaining smoke helped block most of the view for the others.

In an instant, Slyph truly came alive. The woman was now dressed in all leather and orange striping interlaced The top stopped at her mid-drift as the pants hugged her legs perfectly ending in the boots. At her side was a whip and short sword. Hits of daggers shown at the tops of the boots which stopped at her knees.

She hated helping what would be deemed the enemy however there was little choice in the matter. She pulled the whip from her side as she ran closer to the fight. She cracked the whip up into the rafters as she jumped into the air. She got a better view of what was happening. She felt her own power slide down her arms as she aimed towards the Phage. Silverware and other small bits of metal vibrated across the floor until they got such momentum that they flew through the air attaching themselves to the monster.

She released the whip as she flipped on to small raised platform. She stood there for just a moment to watch the creature struggle. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she waited to see what happened next.

"I'm all up for getting the hell out of here," he said. "Teleport away or whatever."
Cythera looked at him and hoped he didn't have roaming hands. He was a rock star after all. She swore she would break his hand if he copped a feel.

She didn't hesitate as she motioned him to follow her to the edge and once there pulled him close and held on tightly.

She looked over the side. The smoke would make picking a landing spot hard. The sprinklers kicked on and made this so much more glorious.

"Great. Let's see if I can't break a leg!"

She sounded pissed and then watched as some woman did some acrobatics of her own. It was impressive but duty first to the civilians.

"It's time for the express elevator. Hold on."

That was the only warning she gave as she jumped over the side. She hoped he didn't grab as they landed and she nearly fell from the extra weight. She kept her feet and assessed the situation. Venus being strangled, should take a pic but no time, the other senshi being strangled but fighting back. Some cutlery flying at creature and sticking. Ok weird. The other guy who was armed charging creature with sword drawn. Nice.

"You need to run while I go try not to get myself killed. Been fun."

She took off in the direction of Venus. She was easiest to spot being held up. She started running and as she did pulled the staff that was wrapped around her body and it went straight.

"Hey bad breath, to tall, spittle having, can't get a date moron!"

She knew that was stupid but best give the sword wielding person a chance.

"We can't just leave!" Nereida's eyes were wide, because she could still see what was going on with the monster and the Senshi thanks to her position in Matt's arms. Though it hurt to do so, Nereida managed to shift so she was looking over the man's shoulder as he turned to find a way out. "It's going to kill them! We can't...we can't let it kill them!" not that she had any idea what THEY could do. She'd already done her best and that had gotten her hurt. She didn't even want to think about what might be wrong with her leg.

"Matt...There has to be something we can do!"

Powerful, claw-like hands gripped the throats of the two Senshi, tightening so that they'd soon be seeing spots and the world would become a pinpoint of light within slowly encroaching darkness. Ice was spreading across their skin from the mis-creation's touch, attacking the water that was begining to drench them from the sprinklers and burning at the flesh, it was so cold. Much more pressure from its hands, and just a twist, and the girls' heads would pop right off, spraying blood everywhere. Whether they'd be suffocated, decapitated, or frozen to death, first, was anyone's guess.

While the monstrosity continued to hold tightly to Venus and Jupiter, it's power spread outward to freeze the falling water. Every surface within a ten foot area that was slick with water was soon coated in a sheet of ice where it froze. The water droplets still falling from the ceiling were also freezing in that ten-foot radius, turning the shower into a hail storm to fall on the heads of those fighting against the enemy. Lucky for them, none of the hail was any larger than a dime in size. However, it would still be distracting, and stingingly painful, to be struck by so much at such a rapid pace.

"Puny humans..." the creature hissed and coughed a raking laugh. "My mistress will destroy all you love..." It was clearly preparing for a finishing move on the girls that dangled from its grip, then electricity blossomed from Neo Jupiter's gloves.

High-pitched, blood-curdling screams errupted from the monster's mouth and Jupiter's attack had the desired effect of causing the creature's hand to instantly open, dropping its prize. Yet the electricity continued to zap at the creature as the water and ice in the air allowed a conduit for the electrical output. Even if Neo Jupiter were to stop using her own power, the energy would continue striking the creature in wave after painful wave. The power traveled the length of the demon's extra arm, distracting it so that it did not see Ganymede's attack at the other arm. Ganymede's weapon sliced through the arm holding Neo Venus with little resistance, and another cry of pain escaped the monster. The ice-youma stumbled backward, but it soon found its movements hindered by the sudden protrusion of hundreds of various-sized pieces of metal that had suddenly rushed at it.

Several of the sharper objects struck so hard they actually pierced the thing's hide, drawing a sick, purplish blood that hissed and steamed as it tried to eat away at the metal that dared to bite into its flesh. The electricity still dancing on its skin, those metal projectiles that were even a little conductive were soon creating even more electicity, and in a matter of moments the entire creature was abuzz with a spectacular array of crackling light. It looked like the demon were enveloped in a lightening storm of white, blue, red, and green electricity. The screams continued for several seconds, and within the storm the creature's arms spread wide before it's legs gave out and it collapsed to the ground, unmoving and silent.

The lightening continued to sizzle and dance not just around the creature, but in a ten foot circle; wherever ice had spread along the floor and walls, electricity danced for several more seconds before finally disipating. Without the demon expending energy, however, the ice was no longer capable of forming. Ice damage had been done to the sprinklers, and they were now frozen so that more water could not fall; what remained in the air struck the ground with a crystaline pattering before the room was left in eerie silence.

Steam was rising from the body of the creature, making it impossible to see what remained, but as it began to dissipate they'd find themselves looking not at a monster of ice, but at a young man lying, unmoving, on the floor. A pool of blood spread out beneath that body, but it was no longer that sick purple that seemed to burn with the power of dry ice, but the regular, deep red of a normal human. The boy was lying face down on the ground, having collapsed in a heap of charred flesh, and the damage was unmistakable. The human--likely an innocent used by the enemy--was dead.

The scream caught in Azure's throat as they went over the edge of the balcony. That wasn't teleporting at all.

Dizzy as the woman set him down, he wasn't sure if he should thank her or curse her. It didn't matter, he couldn't catch his breath.

Neo Venus screamed at the electricity Neo Sailor Jupiter sent shooting through the monster ripped through her own body just before someone got her free. The second time electrocuted in less then twelve hours. The world turned dark around her and she slumped into the arms of her rescuer. Her fuku faded, leaving a singed Adora in her still pristine party dress and tiara.

Her heart stopped, her breath stilled...

Neo Jupiter could feel her body screaming for oxygen as a powerful jolt of electricity surged through the creature's arm. As if that wasn't bad, now it was hailing within the club! But the desired effect came to be. The electricity caused the creature's arm to convulse and seize, its hand around her throat opening and dropping her to the ground. Smoke rose from her gloves as she collapsed on all fours, coughing and gasping.

Ganymede felt a wave of relief as the creature seemed to let go of the pair after both his and Nariko's attacks. Where the metal came from was beyond him but it was hard to concentrate with all this damn hail. This was turning into one fucked up evening. It was hard to ignore Neo Venus as she screamed from the electricity that surged through her as well. Watching as her fuku faded, Ganymede was relieved to see the staff wielding individual closer to Venus catch her.

The sounds of the creature's screams continued, earning her interest as she turned to see what was going on. The pieces of metal that surrounded it were stabbing into its body, conducting her electric attack and making that much worse. Her expression twisted to one of pain and sorrow. It was practically torture for that thing to have to go through this. It was even more difficult to watch. Clamping her eyes shut, Neo Jupiter turned away, trying to shut out the painful cries that invaded her senses.

A dull thud followed by eerie silence caught her attention. She had to force herself to look. There the creature was, bleeding, burned, or so she assumed given all the steam that was clouding her vision. As the smoke cleared, it turned out to be far worse. There lay the man that the monster had once been, unmoving and bleeding, his skin charred from the voltage. Her heart wrenched as Neo Jupiter stared at him, anguish evident across her face. She did this....it was her fault! Crawling across the floor, even into the melting water which still held some charge of electricity, Neo Jupiter's hands soon found their way to his body, her tears staining his clothes.

Watching Nariko lament and grieve over what she had done, Lin stood by silently. This was something he couldn't help her with. She would have to work this out on her own. It was a shame that this young man had to die and not one of them knew who he was. 'Ugh, that would suck-dying without having anyone know who you are.' he thought.

(ooc: figured it would be easier and more logical for Cythera to catch Adora as she was closer)

Freyja for once in her life reacted without thinking. She moved and by sheer luck she didn't slip in the slush coating the floor. She caught Neo Venus and before she hit the ground.

As quietly as she could she said Adora's name.

"Adora..."

When she didn't answer she said it louder.

"Adora."

Freyja became alarmed at the lack of response.

"Adora!"

Two fingers traveled to Adora's carotid artery.

"Oh no....fuck.....Adora you can't do this!"

She she stood up and cleared a spot on a table and placed her she then placed the side of her face close to Adora's to feel if she was breathing.

"Oh god dammit Adora!"

Again reaction without thought.

She lifted her and tilted her head. She started rescue breaths. Then the chest compressions. She worked furiously but with a purpose. She wouldn't panic. She told herself she was disiplined and would not let panic overcome her.

She checked Adora's pulse again.

"Somebody call for medical help! RIGHT NOW!"

She continued to administer CPR like she had done it several other times. She checked pulse and breathing. She continued and would continue to perform CPR until either Adora or EMS arrived.

(OOC - She will continue until Adora wakes. Come on Adora you can wake up!)

They always said there was a light at the end of a tunnel when you died. For Adora, it was deep space.

Floating among the stars, she felt more aware of everything. The twinkling lights, the planets, the heat of the sun. The pain was gone and she felt surprisingly calm. Peaceful. Like floating on her back in a pool she had all to herself.

"Adora." Someone whispered. The voice was familiar and yet strange. She felt she should know it but knew she didn't. "Adora." it called softly again. Feminine and lyrical.

Looking down at the golden planet she hovered above, it took her a moment to realize it was home. Venus.

"It's not your time yet, Adora," said the voice. A silhouette of light appeared over the planet, too bright to make out the form. "You cannot journey to the Galaxy Cauldron. Your quest is not complete. You must go back."

"It hurts," Adora said, her voice tight.

"Such is the price of living. You've things you must do in the name of Venus. Go back, Adora. Go back."

With that beautiful voice echoing in her head, Adora awoke to hands baring down on her chest in a steady rhythm. Pain seared her body. She didn't need those ribs anyway and new skin would look younger, right?

Choking in breath, she tried to beg them to stop buy couldn't find her voice.

Freyja was becoming increasingly alarmed and panic was starting to creep into her actions.

"Adora fuck no!"

She was about to give a other rescue breath when she coughed. The sound of the ragged and weak cough surprised Freyja. She nearly hugged Adora but instead rolled her on her side into the recovery position.

"Oh thank the heavens."

She let out a sigh or nervous relief. She started to look Adora over for any wounds that needed attention.

"Adora say something. Anything"

She squatted there looking at Adora.

Matthew stopped dead in his tracks and looked at the face of the woman in his arms as she pleaded with him. What can we do? She is injured and I'm not sure about all of this fighting monster bit. It is not like we have special powers like the senshi. He turned his body so he could try and get a better picture of what was happening. He was at a loss of what they could possibly do. He replayed what he could of the fight in his head, even though it was not much at the time.

A different sensation then what he was feeling slowly rose with in him. His feet seemed to have a mind of their own as they carried him and the princess closer to the battle field. "What do you think the weakness are? Maybe we can use one of those to our advantage. Honestly I don't remember much other then your safety."

Matthew slowly brought them closer to the fighting when the sheet of ice formed under his feet. He felt his feet slip out from under him as he fell straight onto his back as Nereida landed onto off him. He felt his head get a little dizzy from the fall as a line of pain raced down his spine. It took a minute or two before he realized that it was hailing as well. It stung every time that it touched his skin. He had barely enough sense to roll over and use his body as a shield to protect the princess. He stared at her face while keeping the pain from his own as his head started to pound something freace.

He was about to look back as he heard the scream. He was suddenly blinded by the flashing light. He closed his eyes to block out most of it. His body felt the buzz of electricity pour through him even though he knew that there was really nothing that he could really do for Nereida at the moment. He was thankful that it ended so quickly.

He slowly leaned back on his heels, giving the woman a chance to sit up as silence filled the air around them. His eyes held a tired, painful look to them as he asked, "Are you all right?"

Slyph felt the patter of ice on her skin as the monster screamed out. She covered her head with her hands. She was about to jump down when she noticed the ice. Damnit! she cursed in her head. She sighed as she pulled out her whip once again. The scream caused her to look over at the monster. She half smiled as she noticed the blood slowly pour out from her attack. It was what she wanted. She enjoyed watching the creature fall to the ground. She waited a few moments as the ice pellets stopped along with the sparks. She barely blinked an eye as she noticed that creature turned back into a man.

She jumped down from her post and slid across the floor for a few feet. She carefully made her way to safer ground before anyone truly got a better look at her. There was no need to be seen as the enemy as well. She excited the building and headed back to the shuttle bay as quickly as she could. Once she found a safe location, the transformation dropped. It seems as if our friends are truly out to destroy the senshi here and now. All the more reason that we succeed at our mission.

Most everyone involved was either in to much shock to notice, or too busy helping others, but Nariko was close enough and looking directly at the man that had been transformed to fight them. The boy was clearly dead, but his head was tilted sideways and she would be able to see the dark mark upon his brow that should not have been there. The mark was black in color, and it seemed to absorb the light that tried to reveal it to her, but something would tug at Nariko, drawing her gaze to that image. It was an inverted crescent, black and upside down, the crescent moon had been twisted into something evil.

Then, while Nariko watched, the symbol would shimmer, like frost in the sun, before the symbol rose off the dead boy's skin to become glittering motes of black that soon vanished.

It was clear that Matt was as much at a loss for how they could help as she was, but when he turned and headed slowly back toward the battle, she couldn't help feeling a momentary victory. His question about weaknesses caused her to frown and she shook her head. "It...seems to have an affinity toward ice..." a thought began to form as to how that might be useful to them, and then Matt slipped on the ice.

There was nothing Nereida could do but scream as she landed heavily on top of Matt, her leg bouncing with the impact and causing her vision to go black. By the time Matt managed to turn over and try to sheild her, he'd see that Nereida was clearly out cold.

Minutes were lost while Eida remained unconcious, but she was not the type to stay out for long. The world returned in peices; someone was shouting for medical help, somewhere nearby water was dripping on the floor. Another person was crying...there was a lot of crying, moaning...sirens were going off in the distance and getting closer.

Quote:

"Are you all right?"

Matt's voice pulled Nereida the rest of the way out of her daze and she blinked back tears to look up at his concerned and exhausted face. For a moment she simply stared at him; her leg throbbed, and she had an immense headache...her body ached all over, really. "No..." her voice came in a soft whisper, mostly because she was just lacking any energy to do more than lay there and realize how close she'd come to dying, again. Second time in the same day, even...worse, she'd dragged friends into it, too...

"Damien..." she gasped the man's name and that, alone, got her to try and sit up; pain errupted from her ankle and she gasped, collapsing back on the ground. No, she was definitely not okay.

Matthew noticed the watery eyes however he said nothing, just relieved that she had awaken after their spill onto the floor. He watched her try to sit up after calling out the rock star's name. Worry filled his face as she gasped and collasped back onto the ground. He glanced around the area to see if he could find out about the other missing party. There did not seem to be any sign of him. His arms would be in a better position to help her if she chose to sit up again.

"I cant really see him from here. I am sure the authorities will be here soon enough. It might be a better chance to locate him then." He refocused the attention back onto her as his eyes gave the look that he would not leave her alone while clearly in pain. "Where are you hurt?"

Azure felt ill, his fingers shaking as he dialed for the authorities. It wouldn't have even occurred to him to do so except that someone was shouting for someone to call for an ambulance. After it was said, it seemed an obvious solution.

He'd barely started speaking to the operator when the police and medics arrived. Lights flashed.

It wasn't the manly move, but he slumped against the wall and pinched the bridge of his nose as he started to cry. He still didn't know what exactly had happened but relief was sweet as he saw that it must be over.

He knew he should look for Nereida and Matthew but his body just wouldn't move for the tremors.

Every part of Adora's body hurts. Parts that she didn't even know she had.

Before she could say anything, EMT's were pushing Sailor Cythrea out of the way, where checking her vitals. She winced as they touched her.

"What happened?" One asked, turning to the Sailor Senshi. He swallowed as he realized just who he was talking to. "Ma'am," he added hesitantly.

Nariko had no idea how long she had been crying over what she had done. Her attention was so focused and so intent on staring at the young man that she just refused to hold her transformation any longer, fuku lifting away in a shower of sparkles. Lifting her no longer gloved hands in front of her face, she stared forward, her hands trembling, barely registering the small twinge at the corner of her eye. She looked up past her hands and saw everything going on in front of her but her ears just refused to register the sounds.

Sadden gray eyes lowered to the man's face and that was where she saw it. A strange black mark on his forehead. Just what was that? A single finger lowered to touch the mark but it shimmered and lifted away, vanishing into thin air. Clasping the man's hand in her own, Nariko felt her body slump over and rest on the wet floor, curling around his head and shoulder. She honestly did not care that she was laying in his blood now. Clutching his hand, Nariko noticed a small darkened bit on the back of her own hand. Turning to see the back of her hand, there was a very distinct electrical burn in the place where the metal plates from her gloves had laid. "I burned myself...."

Ganymede felt some wave of relief fill him as everything seemed to be taken care of in one way or another. Emergency personnel were arriving but Nariko was still having her moment. He didn't know what to do. There were some things he couldn't do for her. She HAD to work through this herself. Shaking his head, he turned and moved to a nearby wall, slumping back against it and taking the moment to give a deep breath. Looking himself over again, Ganymede groaned. "I'm gonna have fucking nightmares about this!"
