Haruka had to fight the urge to run. To race down the aisle of her castle. To put as much distance between her and the man she'd left with her wife.

It hadn't been fair of her to leave this up to Michiru but she seemed happy to have these men back. She'd have to make it up to her later.

Making her way toward the track that went around the whole castle, she was only halted when Guardian Uranus came flying in her face. Biting back the urge to snap at her, it wasn't little spirit's fault that Haruka was in a fowl mood, she took a deep breath. "I'm glad to see you are up. Are you feeling well?"

"I'm fine." Guardian Uranus offered, tossing her hair over her shoulder in a somewhat frustrated manner. Now that Haruka had passed on her powers, the little sprite no longer resembled the Queen. Rather, she resembled Ito--or how Ito would look if she were a little less 'wild.' Her hair was still a pale white-blonde in color, but now it was shoulder-length rather than having a bob cut. She was a bit more curvy, now, and her outfit had shifted to something more like what Neo Uranus wore.

"Considering...I'm PISSED, but I'm physically fine..." though she did have a bit of a headache. "You're clearly NOT okay." the Guardian crossed her arms and raised a brow, her expression clearly saying 'Talk.' "Why were you so cruel to Oberon?"

It was beyond weird to see Guardian Uranus no longer mirroring her and it just drove home the fact that Haruka was no longer Sailor Uranus. While Uranus looked more like Ito, there was enough differences to let he know the transformation wasn't fully complete but enough to count.

So this is what she'd look like if we'd have just taken her... Haruka thought. It was hard knowing how her daughter turned out and, more, how that daughter had raised her own. Hindsight was always twenty-twenty.

It took Haruka a moment to pull herself back to the present and focus on what the Guardian was telling her. She even sounded like a Chipette version of Ito. Weird. "How was I cruel?" she asked. "He's not in the dungeon. Michiru probably sent him on his way. That's pretty kind given the state of emergency we're in."

"You act like it was HIS fault that he was placed in stasis to await your return when the Silver Millennium fell. News flash, he didn't ASK for this." the Guardian continued to hover right in front of Haruka's face, and now she had both hands on her hips and was tapping the air with one foot as if she were standing on actual ground.

"It was cruel to treat him like an enemy. I know you're a blunt person, Haruka, but you could have let the poor guy down a little easier. Think about it! The last thing he remembers is living in the Silver Millennium and being YOUR best friend, even if he were refused the chance to contact you. And it's not as if it's a distant memory to him. He remembers like it was YESTERDAY, or an HOUR ago, because for him it WAS." the sprite dropped her arms and shook her head, her expression becoming sad.

"Think about it this way. How would YOU feel if you woke up tomorrow morning and Michiru didn't remember anything about you, or what you had, or the life you lead. How would you feel if she demanded that you forget all about her, and refused to listen to you when you tried to explain what and who you were to her? If she just walked out of your life without looking back and treated YOU like a pariah?" the sprite raised a brow, finally becoming quiet to allow the blonde a chance to respond to this unusual and albeit unlikely hypothetical situation.

It was a scenario that Haruka couldn't even imagine. Wasn't one that was even feasibly possible.

"Didn't ask for this?" Haruka said, her voice dropping flat. "Isn't that a little cliche? I just had to pass on my powers to my granddaughter and watch Michiru do the same. Not only that, I had to strong arm Ito into doing what is best for the kingdom. We worked our asses off to make sure out children and grandchildren had the lives they always wanted only to have to take back those promises with two of them. Don't you stand there and talk to me about not asking for something unpleasant.

"I do not know that man," she stated with a gesture behind her. "And I have enough on my plate without bringing in past life problems. He can be angry at me, hell, you can too. As far as I'm concerned, I'm mad at this whole damn situation. Ito's missing. If you want something to fix, why don't you go find her? Bully and guilt her into behaving the way the planet wants her too." She winced. She hadn't meant that but what if the Guardian Uranus took her seriously? "I have done against my entire better judgement for this. Upset the lives of the people I love most. Endangered those I would lay my life down for and have to ask them, instead, to defend our Kingdom with their lives. Up against all of this, do you really want to berate me for treating a stranger unfairly?"

The guardian actually listened in silence while Haruka snapped back. The little sprite took a position in the air as if she were sitting in a chair, one leg crossed over the other and leaning backward a bit. When Haruka was finished the Guardian only sighed. "I suppose that would be a waste of my time." she muttered in response to the blonde's final question.

"You're right, this whole situation is just ugly. But that's life, I suppose...full of unfair shit." the Guardian sighed, again, and suddenly stood. "Fine, turn your back on the guy. But remember that he is going to be Ito's protector, now. You're going to have to learn to live with that, because the Planet wont give him any choice in the matter. HE was chosen to be the Guardian to the Senshi and Princess of Uranus, and that is what he will be forced to do. Not that I doubt the planet will have to fight him on it."

Finally dropping that particular topic at that, Guardian Uranus focused more on the 'Ito' situation. "While I could go find Ito and try to guilt-trip her into being a Senshi, I seriously doubt that would help. In fact, it would probably have the opposite effect, entirely. Right now I get the sense that she is contemplating things...she's run away, for the moment, but she hasn't run far and she wont run long. I have a feeling she'll come to terms with her new life, eventually...but it will take her time. In the mean time, we'll have to be thankful that Kaimana is actually taking up her responsibilty as Neo Neptune...and hope that between her, Triton, and Oberon and...oh...right...well, we'll have to hope that they all will be enough."

The Guardian suddenly bit her lip, and Haruka would be hard-pressed to miss that the little sprite had pointedly stopped her sentence without finishing it. Now she looked up to Haruka, a new uncertainty in her teal eyes. "Speaking of strangers...there's another Senshi of Uranus we have to deal with..." oh yeah, blunt and to the point was the Uranus line.
