Sailor Ceres fell into step just barely a half-step behind Adora--enough to give a semblance of equality while still allowing the blonde to lead the way. While they walked, the pink-haired woman carefully studied the girl she'd been placed with for the duration of the day, and it did not take her long to realize Adora wasn't quite herself. Afterall, Ceres had known all of the young royals of the various planetary kingdoms, and Adora had always made an effort to be friendly and open with anyone that was willing to talk to her. Her outgoing and bouyant nature were her greatest qualities, at least in Ceres' mind; yet that girl seemed to be gone. In her place was a reluctant, shy, and uncertain teen clearly lost and seeking the correct path to follow back home. Sensing the blonde's trepidation, Sailor Ceres waited until they were well out of range of the Queens before taking a moment to stop and look conspiratorially over her shoulder. "Oh, good...Adora, I hope you don't mind if I drop my transformation?" the truth was, Ceres much prefered being out of the thing whenever possible. She was almost ALWAYS transformed at the Palace, so having moments to just be herself were incredibly welcome. Not really waiting for a response, but expecting Adora would be quite pleased with the drop, Ceres gathered her power deep within herself, twisting in that oh-so-familiar way that allowed her Senshi self to fade away, leaving her standing as Kera and nothing more. The gold and pink fuku gave way to a lovely dress that would have been more fitting in 1950. Baby-blue fabric decorated with tiny pink and yellow flowers made up the outfit; the top was much like a collared shirt, complete with buttons, pockets over the breasts, and short sleeves. It hugged her upper body and seemed to be cinched to her waist by a black, leather belt. The dress then flared at her hips and fell to her knees in layers of flowing, light-weight fabric that swished and swayed around her legs. Knee-high, pale blue socks and a pair of black Mary-Jane pumps finished off the outfit, along with the usual earrings, necklace, bracelets, and rings that Kera was known for wearing. Today she'd gone with gold hoops in her ears and simple bands of gold around her neck and wrists. Thick tresses of pink were pulled atop her head in the traditional braided and bun style she had even when transformed. "Oh, that feels so much better!" A small black purse seemed to appear out of nowhere and Kera carefully looped it over her forearm before turning back to Adora. "There, a little less conspicuious and a whole hell of a lot more comfortable." she smiled softly at the blonde before motioning with perfectly manicured, pink nails for her to continue. |

As Adora and Eternal Sailor Ceres broke off from the group with a small wave to her grandmother, Adora looked down at her cellphone as it chimed. It was a text message from Ogan again. This one read,
Sighing, she turned off the screen and slide it back into her bag. Unanswered. When Ceres asked about detransforming, Adora watched in fascination as the pink senshi's clothes melted away, leaving her standing in street clothes. "I'm sorry you're stuck walking with me," she said, not knowing what else to say really. Usually she was a master of small talk, but today she just didn't find she was up to it. "I'm afraid nothing nearly as exciting as your regular life happens." Well, that wasn't all together true anymore, now was it? Still, Adora didn't want to think on that. |
