Keiko had not yet been to the Pluto district. It was truly a site to behold. It was storefront after storefront of high end boutiques, each carrying the latest and greatest fashion trends. The various smells of fine dining wafted down the walkways. Keiko had heard that some of the best history museums were located in this district. She made a mental note to come back another time and fully explore. "Does Pluto look like this for real?" Keiko asked. She stopped at a large window of a dress shop. A couple of beautiful but somewhat opulent dresses were standing in the window. Rich colored fabrics with intricate designs. Keiko's brow furrowed. Her family was not opposed to beautiful things but she was brought up to understand that things were not really all that important. It would break focus, take away from the here and now and lessen the things that were truly important. "These outfits are quite stunning but...they look so heavy!" |

Lara lead the way to the crowded streets of the Pluto District. She got the feeling that everyone was out doing last minute shopping for the coronation that was happening later on today. She felt her eyes draw to the various dresses as smells from the resturant made her stomach gurgle even after having a bit of ice cream. She was never big into the latest trends as she always felt more at home in the serene park or a dusty corner of the museums. She was enjoying her time with the princess beside her though at the same time she wanted to be in a quieter place than here. Her eyes darted over when the question was asked. She breifly cleared her throat as she thought of an answer to the question. "Well this takes the best of what Pluto has to offer. You can feel the influence easily enough. I mean I do feel at home when I came here, just parts of it make me miss my father and mother more than usual." She nearly ran into Keiko when she stopped in frotn of a window. She smiled as she noticed the gorgeous gown. She gave a little giggle at the comment. "From what I over hear, long dresses are fairly heavy. I mean I would prefer something that I can easily move around in. Maybe that is why most people don't see me out of jeans too often." |

Keiko nodded her head in agreement. "Once you wear shrine clothes, you'll never want to wear anything else again," She said, her face still peering curiously at the dresses in the window. "Setsuna..." Keiko paused. "I'm sorry. I mean Queen Setsuna was a successful fashion designer for a while, wasn't she?" Keiko's grandmother always insisted on the importance of history. Knowing your past left you better prepared for the future. Keiko turned away from the window and back to Lara. "Well then, where should we go to find something comfortable to wear?" |

Lara smiled as Keiko corrected herself Honestly, she really did not mind what her grandmother was going to be called by the other members of the royal family. In her mind, they all knew the woman much better than she did. She shrugged her shoulders as she swallowed the bitter taste in her mouth. "If you call my... grandmother by her first name, it will not really bug me. In fact you would probably know her better than me. It was talked about how she had her own line started back on earth. I guess it might still be around today. She was thankful for the distraction of moving else where. "I think there might be a few places further in that would sell dressier things but are comfortable. Just don't quote me on it." |

"My grandmother is pretty into formalities," Keiko explained her correction. Keiko walked along, still peering curiously into the windows of the passing shops. She stopped when they passed a shop with much more simple looking outfits. "Let's try here. This looks like a place that we'd both be much more comfortable with," Keiko said, holding the door open for her companion. "Have you ever been to a coronation?" |

Lara nodded her head at the comment. She knew a few things about the various queens of each of their respected planets, than again those were all common knowledge. She glanced around her at the various shops since she normally did not come down this way unless she absolutely needed something. She nearly ran into her new companion when she stopped. She looked at the various outfits they had on display. She smiled as she entered into the shop. "Thank you." She glanced around as she took in the various colors and cuts of suits, pants, dresses, and shirts. There was a lot to choice from. She took a few steps forward when the question was asked. Her eyes widened a bit, only to glance down to the floor. She took in a deep breath before she answered. "Never. I just found out that I was a princess only two weeks ago. I honestly don't know anything about being a royal or how to rule." She pushed down the bile as it filled her mouth when she said princess. A new wave of anger boiled up as she knew that her life would never truly be the same again as well as her family thinking she could not handle something like this. She was stronger than people gave her credit for! She closed her eyes to push down all those feelings for now was not the time or the place. "What about you?" |

Keiko frowned. It was obvious she had upset her new friend. She was surprised to hear that Lara had only recently found out about her birthright. She could see why it was so upsetting, it certainly was a lot of information for someone to take in. It never struck Keiko as odd because she had been raised in it, plus she bore such a resemblance to her grandmother that she couldn't have hidden from it, even if she wanted to. "Nothing quite this like," She replied. "Shrine living requires that I attend a lot of events. My grandmother's presence is often requested at them and I'm required to go as next in line to replace her. I don't think any are quite this formal though. At least being at the temple means being in my element which gives me some level of control." Keiko poked around through a rack of outfits. "I imagine that we'll be attending a lot of coronations for a bit. So...any color you're particularly fond of?" |

Lara sighed as she caught the look and tone in Keiko's voice. She did not want all of this to effect the time they have been spending together. She let her fingers slide across the different cloths on the rack. Nothing really seemed to be appealing to her at the moment as a strange feeling nagged at the back of her mind. She gave a shook of her head as she glanced over at the raven haired girl. "It sounds like events at the temples tend to be a bit more causal." She shrugged her shoulders as she continued on, "The only really fancy events that I attended were exhibit openings of my father with all of his findings from digs. I get the feeling that I really might be out of my place there." She gave a quick shrug of her shoulders as the sound of hangers scrapping filled the air between them. She really did not think about the colors she normally chooses. "I guess things that go with dark green hair like mine. So usually blues, reds, and purples I guess. Seeing anything that you like?" |

"Did your dad ever find any dinosaurs?" Keiko suddenly blurted out, deep from within a rack of rather large frilly dresses. Her head popped up, looking almost like a floating head. She peered at Lara for a moment before disappearing back into the rack. "Almost no one knows this, but I actually really really like dinosaurs," Keiko said. Which was true, most people didn't know that about her. At the temple there was rarely time for interests outside of her studies and interests she did have, she usually kept to herself. Sharing personal information was a vulnerability that she couldn't really afford. |

Lara could not help but to laugh as only a raven head could be seen with the excited expression having to deal wen asked about dinosaurs. It would take a few minutes before she could calm down to answer. She cleared her throat as her eyes scanned the rack in front of her. The straight lined dresses were not doing much for her. "Actually no. He mainly and archeologist. But he does know of a few paleontologist so if you ever want to meet one, just let me know. I will hook you up." She laughed as her voiced had a playful tone with the last part. She never truly found long lost creatures such as those as fascinating as what her father digs up. She knew that if Keiko wanted to go, she would try and make that happen. Than again, with her new position, she was not entirely sure how much time she would have to go running off. |

Freyja had stumbled out of the brig after the nice speech from her grandmother and then left to find something to find to do with herself. She didn't mind shopping and soon found her hungover self in the Pluto District. She frowned to herself and continued on into a shop. When she entered she notice two women bantering to themselves and while she didn't mean to drift close she did. "Dammit!" She rubbed her temples as she attempted to concentrate on the wares being sold here. She just had not desire to face Jayson or Natalie at this moment. So she would pretend to shop. She looked a mess to be sure but that didn't' concern her in the least. |

"Wait wait, I know this," Keiko said. "An Archeologist focuses on lost civilizations and cultures correct? Like the ruins of ancient Greece?" She paused to look at Lara. The more time she spent with the Plutonian the more she liked her. They seemed to share similar interests and the conversation flowed so naturally. That was always a struggle for Keiko so this time spent with Lara was blessing from Mars. "My father's side is Earth Greek and history is somewhat of a hobby of his. But yes, we should hit up a museum sometime. I'd like very much to hear what your father has taught you." Keiko blinked at the girl who had just entered the shop. She seemed ill or something but Keiko couldn't quite tell. She looked at Lara and then back to the tall blond. Damn, now the ease of the conversation and energy with Lara was interrupted. Keiko was terrible with new people and she immediately felt the need to with draw. But the girl was...unsettled. That much Keiko could sense. "Um...are you all right? You seem ill." |

Freyja didn't realize she had gathered some attention, rather unwanted, until after the woman spoke to her. She turned ready to chew her head off but winced at the motion of the turning. She smiled best she could and then softened her face and her tone when she spoke. "Not really. Thank you for asking. I was just trying to shop and forget about my troubles for the time being." She winced again this time with pain and massaged her temples. She opened her eyes and tried to smile. "I didn't mean to interrupt you two. If you will excuse me." This was the time that her world would literally spin and her feet would fail her. She fell down and kept from vomiting. She still though fell to the ground and laid there a moment. It was a cool floor and she didn't mind this so much. Other than the two people who were most likely staring at her. "I'm ok, if you could help me up though?" |

Lara felt a bright smile cross her face as Keiko recited what an archeologist was. It surprised her even more to see some one else generally excited about seeing what her father does. It made her happy as Keiki's grandfather was from Greece. There were so many fun things that have been found there. She would easily add in some dinosaurs for the raven haired girl. She almost felt the need to hug the girl but held back. She did not want to scare off a potential friend. She was going to reply when a tall blonde haired girl walked over by them. She took a step or two closer to Keiko as she was not sure really how to act as something smelled of intimidation from the woman. There was just a strange feeling that she could not place at the moment. Her head whipped around as she heard the princess from Mars ask if the blonde was okay. She bit her lip as she felt frozen in place. The gruff reply was enough to off set her. The word 'trouble' sent a flag up in her head. She was thankful when the woman was going to leave the two of them alone. She could only hope that their conversation would go back to the ease it was at. She was about to turn to turn back to rack she was looking at when the woman fell on her behind right next to her. She closed her eyes for just a moment to push down the lump in her throat. She reached her hand down to Freyja with a forced smile on her face. Her voice came out soft and a little shaky as she tried to help the woman up off the floor. "Are you sure you are okay to be out and about? I mean you just seem to rubbing your head a lot and falling down does not help matters either." |

While Lara approached her from the front and offered her hand, Keiko stood behind Feyja to help get her up and steady on her feet. Keiko couldn't tell if she smell something pungent wafting after Freyja. Had she been drinking? "I think you should sit down. Do you want some water?" |
