Nope, 'Mania is this Sunday. |
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

The official "more" version, from my perspective, including spoilers (the match order might be wrong, by the way...this is just how I remember it): They started by screwing us out of the Tag Title unification, as the match will now "be available on the DVD of WrestleMania 25"...Colons won the unaired match. Opened with MITB, which in my opinion was one of the best MITB's we've seen. Shelton did an insane flippy spot, Kofi ran up the ladder while Mark Henry was holding it, and many other cool spots. CM Punk wins again. The Diva Battle Royal was a waste of time. I was annoyed that we were subjected to this, while they felt that the tag title unification needed to be kicked off the show. Santino won, no shock there. Best to move on. After that was Jericho and the legends, which was awful, then awesome, then kinda lame again. When Piper and Snuka were beating up Chris Jericho, it was horrible. Fortunately, Y2J eliminated both of them pretty quickly and it got to what we all wanted to see: Jericho vs. Steamboat. While it was short, the two of them worked really well together and it was a lot of fun. Jericho won, then Rourke got in the ring and knocked him out, which I was pretty "meh" about. Then was Rey vs. JBL. Rey was dressed as the Dark Knight version of The Joker, which was, in fact, terrifying. 21 second match, Rey beat JBL, and then JBL got on the mic and said he quit (I assume he's going to be filling in Tazz's spot on SmackDown). Cute, but nothing really great. After that was Hardy vs. Hardy, which was really good, the first thing I got super into on the show besides Money in the Bank. Some really cool spots, including an awesome Twist of Fate from Matt onto Jeff, whose head was caught in a folding chair. Matt wins, and I expect this feud to go on. As good as this was, I couldn't help but feel like they were holding back, like they wanted to save more stuff for later. I'm excited for more of this. Then was the match of the night, the thing that WrestleMania 25 will be remembered for...Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker. Nothing I could say would do this match justice, so let me just say that any wrestling fan -must- find a way to see this thing. Amazing. Oh, and 'Taker won. Edge vs. Cena vs. Big Show was fine. About what you'd expect from a match with three people and only one really phenomenal worker. It wasn't bad, but I think it was in a really tough position having to follow HBK and Undertaker, which no match was going to be able to do. Cena won, which...y'know...vomit. But yeah, otherwise just an alright match. And finally...what might be among the worst 'Mania main events of all time. Or at least...among the worst in the post-Hogan era of 'Mania. It's not that it was a bad match, but it wasn't actually good either, and you kind of hope for something special to close out 'Mania. Triple H keeps his belt after a long, occasionally boring match, and Randy Orton has had his momentum torn away from him once again. Unfortunate note to close the PPV on, but honestly, the glow from how amazing Shawn vs. Undertaker was more than makes up for it. |

i was at a loss for words after the Taker/HBK match. i actually would have enjoyed the Diva Battle Royal more if they would have given the win to Sunny. |

you forgot to mention that Cena was able to pick up Show AND Edge up on his shoulders at the same time. I thought it was insane a couple years back when Cena FUd the Big Show. Now he gets both guys up at the same time!!! Dude |
