HBK's christianity is ruining this DX thing. Whenever anything sexually suggestive happens, HBK is nowhere around or has himself blindfolded. Lame. Oh well, that just means more for HHH to ham up on his own. BTW...USA network was a bit late blacking out those topless girls. Thank goodness for semi-live television.DX messing with Vince's mic was really good. I know one or two of you are going to give me a YAWN and say the mic thing has been done before...but I don't care, it was still funny. I hate Edge, but I was glad to see him win the belt away from Cena again in a FAIR match. I caught the very end of ECW....poor RVD.

I know you're expecting me to be one of those who yawns about the mic thing, but I actually agree with you. I thought that was rather funny, even though it has been done before. What makes me yawn is when they bring out midgets dressed like wrestlers, because we've seen that way, waaaaaay too many times. That's beside the point, though. Anyway, for those who don't know, there's a specific reason that this was a very bad week for RVD. Over the weekend, he and Sabu got pulled over for speeding, and marijuana (among other things, apparently) were found in their car. I guess RVD's taking more of the heat for it from the company, because he's getting suspended for a month, whereas Sabu is just getting a fine. But yep...there you go. It's -awesome- that they put the WWE title on Edge, though I really wish the ECW title had gone to someone who was neither Big Show nor Kurt Angle. But oh well, this is Vince's ECW after all...and I have to say, the Heyman swerve was really well done. I may not really care for Batista, but it is good that he's returning. SmackDown desperately needs him right now. I just wish they would be willing to take one or two of the important people on Raw and move them to SmackDown. But hey, at least the undercard on SmackDown completely owns, with people like Finlay, Kendrick, London, Super Crazy, and Psicosis. But to me, this week was really all about one thing...the debut of CM f'ing Punk! I'm glad after having been stuck in OVW for two years despite being way better than the vast majority of either the Raw or SmackDown roster, he's finally being allowed on TV. Woohoo! |

He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

I really thought the Undertaker might win against the Big show... It is time for Ric Flair to win and get that #17. He is really working hard! |

What the hell would she be doing for Disney? Hopefully, it's just voicing some animation. I believe she's still under contract with WWE, is she not? |

I believe her contract has expired at this point. If it hasn't already, it's pretty much official that she's not coming back, anyway, so I could see WWE letting her sign with Disney while she's still under contract with them so that they can get some sweet cross promotion going on in the meanwhile. Sadly, it looks like Trish Stratus may be following in Stacy's footsteps and be on her way out the door of the wrestling world. This isn't nearly as definite of a thing as Stacy's departure, but apparently she is thinking about leaving after her contract expires. And on a sad note, it looks like WWE might sign Mark Henry to a new contract once his current one expires in August. |

it was a very bad time for Mark Henry to get hurt... If his contract is up this month he may wind up unemployed... |

Are you not counting the Rock? Or did the Rock only hold the World title because for most of his run there was only one title? Didn't the the Rocks father wrestle for the WWE and wasn't he the first to win the championship? During the commercial for Summer Slam they show The Boogeyman... I hate the Boogeyman!!! I know this was shot a while ago but hope there is no intention to bring this horrible character back ever. I don't like to wish harm on people but I was kind of hoping he choked on a rotten worm.... |
