viewers may find it cool but at what cost to the wrestler just look at "the wrestler that shall not be named" and what happened when his brain got scrambled one to many times.

So wifey is really into wrestling and we hadnt ordered a PPV in YEARS, so she wanted to get this last one, WWE Over the Limit.

.....

About the only good match was Ray Mysterio vs CMPunk - if Mysterio lost, he had to become a part of Straight Edge Society, if Punk lost, Mysterio got to shave Punk's head. The match was good, and Rey landed a couple of 6-1-9's, and after Mysterio won with a small package pin, the SES came in to start beating Mysterio, getting ready to handcuff him to submission, but KANE came in and cleaned house, Mysterio handcuffed Punk and the went batshit crazy with the shaver on him, and then showed Punk what he looked like in a mirror.

Other than that, it was disappointing. The Cena/Batista I Quite match was dumb, and the Randy Orton/Edge match sucked and ended in a no decision because it looked Like somehow The Viper screwed up his shoulder and/or forearm.

I missed the Big Show match - but am glad that he gave Miz the knockout punch.

I dont remember anything else, and that's about how memorable the whole even was.
I want my $45 bucks back.

You cant expect 110% from others, when most times, they don't expect even 90% from themselves. -- Me.

I regret my purchase of Over the Limit as well. It wasn't a bad show...just kind of blah. The only reason I really wound up getting it was because, even though I'm not a big fan of the guy, I was interested in seeing Batista's farewell match from the company. I'm with Denny that Punk vs. Rey was good stuff, though. Actually, there were several good matches, but they were just covered in poor booking, so it becomes hard to remember that fact.

Also, I feel bad for Orton that he got hurt, but I will admit that it pleases me to no end that it apparently happened while he was doing his stupid little mat pounding thing.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Batista's leaving?
Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

THERE HE IS, THE VIPER'S COILED AND READY TO STRIKE.....

Just how does pounding equate with "coiled"? :wtf:
I do enjoy watching his matches though - he's a sick bastard with that head-punt.

Batista's leaving?
??? That's news to me too...although he was also getting pretty tiring with his whiny bitch act too. and how many times do we have to have a back and forth between him and Cena?
