Gotta tell you, man, even though he's eliminated, Daniel Bryan does more than cut the mustard. As far as pure, in-ring technical ability goes, the only person currently in WWE who can compare to him is Chris Jericho. I know WWE had a lot of fun playing up the whole "This guy may be a good wrestler, but he has no personality" thing, but even that is total crap. Admittedly, Daniel Bryan is not going to be confused with The Rock when it comes to personality, but he at least has enough that the sheer talent the guy has can cover him the rest of the way.

He may be eliminated from the NXT competition, but I can tell you right now there's no way he won't be on one of the main rosters (most likely Raw, unfortunately) very, very soon.

Though to your original point...if a Carlito is fired in the woods, and nobody's around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

GLT, you've always been a Batista hater. So how do you feel about this departure?
Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

I'm actually really frustrated about it, because this latest heel run Batista had has been awesome. I honestly felt like ever since they turned him, he's really clicked as a character for the first time, and became more than "Big Muscle Guy #74." Granted, his ring work was never his strong suit, and that didn't change with the heel turn, but his promos (and occasional lack of promos) were so entertaining that for the first time in his career, I really didn't care how talented he was in the ring. So yeah...I'm annoyed that once I finally started getting behind Batista, that was when he chose to leave. But ah well, it happens. As far as the circumstances behind it, I actually do think Batista has a legitimate gripe about being replaced in the movie. I have a hard time imagining that, even if he had wound up leaving the company, that he wouldn't be willing to pop up on Raw a couple of times to promote the movie when it was coming out. I'd be a little pissed, too if I got replaced like that, especially if the person replacing me was The Chosen Son.

Broke his orbital bone in a match against Rey last week, he's going to be out of action for at least the summer.

Battle Royal for Fatal 4Way was cool, loved the look on Mysterio's face when he saw that it was only him and Kane left, and how cool was it that he flying-head-scissored Kane out of the ring for the win. I like Rey, and Im glad he's getting his chance, but I would have rather seen Kane go and clean house.

Saw him go twice for the 6-1-9 and kept asking myself why? Your little 4-foot-6 body aint hefting 8-foot-13 Kane out over the top rope when he's passed out.

Okay, that show-closing segment was one of the best angles I've seen on WWE television in years. That was freaking awesome.

In an unrelated note, WWE has changed their minds on Survivor Series, and it will still be happening in November.

Viewer's Choice last night on Raw, What I dont understand is after all the crap that the NXT winer gave all te NXT losers, why on earth would they band together under him to have them all beat the shit out of Cena and Jerry and proceed to take the place apart?

In passing, I thought it was great that Vladimir Koslov was able to out-dance Santino, but hated that Maryse and her hair extensions won in an All-Diva Battle Royale...and damn the ella-Twins looked great last night.
