Dont care - tired of seeing her trashy ass stroll out every week, and also tired of Nexus - both to the point of not wanting to watch RAW anymore...Smackdown gets pre-empted a lot more around here. |

I don't understand why in 2110 why wrestlers cut themselves and others... Granted I have never liked blood... Always hated it. But if it happens by accident I understand. 20 years ago where there was more of a blurry line between real and wrestling I understand. But there is no one who watches wrestling today that does know that it is choreographed. Why people would get excited over causing pain to another wrestler like this is beyond me. It's not real and let's keep it that way... ![]() |

WWE sucks. Just...ugh. Next time they start wondering why their numbers are going down year after year after year, they need only to look at the crap they pulled tonight as they steadfastly refused to make new stars. Vince McMahon may be the single dumbest booker in the history of the business. Brilliant promoter? Yes, of course, nobody could argue that. But it's his fault and his fault alone that WWE is spiraling down the toilet both from a creative and business perspective. |
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Still, how fitting was it that the surprise 7th member of Team WWE was the 8th Nexus member who got ousted ..... and how predictable was it that Undertaker would be in the casket? I wanted Orton to win, I find Sheamus old-hat - I loved the way Orton freaked him out last week with the threat of the head-punt |

I didn't see it I'm surprised that it took so long for the 8th Nexus guys to come back.... I love Orton... The Undertaker is too busy with his wife to be wrestling... Lucky Lucky man... |

I will agree with you there, Denny. Danielson being the seventh member of the team was absolutely freaking awesome. I was absolutely loving that match until the just atrocious ending. The funny thing is, as my wife and I were watching the match, we were both discussing how by adding Danielson, they found a way of making it so Team WWE could win and it actually wouldn't be a bad thing. All they had to do was, instead of letting John Cena be Superman at the end, you have it come down to Danielson, who valiantly fights for the win. But, of course, we all have to know that nobody on earth can ever compare to John Cena. How is Sheamus old hat? And on that same subject, how is Randy Orton not old hat? In this era when WWE is having a lot of trouble building new stars due to their own booking issues, Sheamus is the shining example of how they do actually still have the ability to build people when they want to. Although I'll admit, I didn't get the finish of that match either. After Sheamus counters the RKO twice and hits his finish on Orton, if he had pinned Randy then and there, Orton wouldn't have lost a thing and Sheamus would have gotten the rub from it. Instead, we have to go to the old WWE standby of "The bad guys can't ever win a match cleanly" and we got a DQ finish. That served no purpose aside from making sure we saw that the heel couldn't beat the face. I really don't get the Orton love. Like, at all. Don't get me wrong, I recognize that it's there. I see it in the crowd. People love Randy Orton, I'm not arguing. I just don't get it. This guy has to be the laziest main eventer since Lex Luger. This is a man who has all the tools to be an amazing in-ring performer. All you have to do is look at his early work to see that he has a lot of technical ability. However, somewhere along the way he got so absorbed in doing his stupid little mannerisms that he stopped actually working in his matches. We're talking about a main event guy who hasn't had a truly stand-out match since that amazing Backlash match against Mick Foley in 2004 for fuck's sake. We're talking about a guy who has had matches with some of the greatest workers in the world, like Triple H, Undertaker, and Edge, and has managed to find ways to drag boring matches out of all of them. I give Cena a lot of crap for not really being a great wrestler, but at least he has the excuse that he just honestly isn't that good in the ring. At least with John Cena, you get 100% of what he has every time he goes out there, and I respect that. Orton has no excuse. He has the talent and the ability, he's just too goddamn lazy to use it. Okay, rant over. Happy thoughts. Daniel Bryan! |

Just so we're on the same page, I didnt watch it either. I refuse to pay premiums for PPV when I can found out exactly everything that happened the next day on the web, via youtube, then on RAW, etc.....not to mention that $45 for what has lately been disappointing events is just a waste of money given all the above after-the-fact discovery methods. And I agree - it would have been rather poetic, and put a resoundingly clear closing punctuation mark on the Nexus thing, to have Danielson close out that match against Barrett. Still I heard he put that wicked crossface/armbar combo on the Nexus rooster puke and red-headed stepchild, If so, nicely done. As for the old hat stuff, yeah OK, I see your point, but I just really like Orton, and just really dislike Sheamus on a personal entertainment level. Orton, has the RKO (and granted, its not that spectacular a move and easily avoidable) and he also has the head punt (havent seen it in a while - I understand there was talk of the move been kinda banned?) and I am just more entertained by his ring presence than Sheamus.....its like a Dallas Cowboys/NE Patriots thing for me - I can recognize the ability, but will never ever root for them - ever - even if they are playing another team that I cant stand, and will always want them to lose. |
