I don't hate Shamus but I'm not really interested in anything he does. I am a personality guy as you know. And that where the love for Orton comes from... Plus I love him because he is the same as a good guy and a bad guy. If you can be just as popular either way you get all my love. (speaking of which I can't stand MVP as a good guy, please change him back) My example for real teams that I know are great but no one can stand to watch... San Antonio Spurs... One of the greatest teams of the the last 10 years. Can't stand to watch one game they play... And that is the great thing about wrestling. The Players you like get the push... Although the same can be said about the NBA ![]() |

haven't watched any WWE since Wrestlemania. But yesterday I caught a promo for summerslam. Um....Cena is on the same team as Edge and Jericho? How the fuck does that happen? Are they all good guys now? That would suck because Edge is SOOOOO much better as a heel. |

Its a joining-together-against-a-common-enemy thing, to stop the Nexus pukes from taking over - which they pretty much have with their weekly invasions and hit-and-run tactics and sabotage attempts. It almost all crumbled right in Cena's face, but it all managed to iron itself out......just in time for Summer Slam. I actually dont mind Wade Barrett so much - he did win his spot, and he does seem pretty smart, but the other guys I have no use for. Rooster hair boy is just ridiculous, Tarver with that stupid mask, the guy who does the 450 splash - the move looks like it does more damage to him than to its target, Sheffield the hairless man-ape whos just a a roid injection away from a coronary, and the rest who are as humdrum and cookie-cutter as can be. Unless they act as a cohesive unit together, they are worthless to the franchise. |

Wade Barrett's really enjoyable as a character. He's hands-down the best all-around performer of the group. Heath Slater is easily the best in-ring worker of the whole group, but they've done so little to differentiate him (WWE's fault, not Slater's) that I don't think a single person who didn't watch NXT knows how good he actually is. My initial concern was that Barrett and Slater were the only really strong workers of the group and that they would have to carry the load. I would say that concern is quickly dissipating. Justin Gabriel, who I initially considered a one-move wonder, has turned into quite the little talent, and I've actually been -very- impressed with how well he has transitioned into a heel role. I sort of figured he'd have the problem of being a natural face, but I think he's actually right now the second best developed member of the group. Skip Sheffield is a guy I saw nothing in until the very tail end of NXT, when he started displaying some potential. Now he's really starting to come into his own, and I think Sheffield was one of the more entertaining parts of the Summerslam main event. Tarver still isn't much of a worker, but his personality is coming out more and more. I think he does a good job of playing the dangerous psycho of the group, if only WWE would bother to highlight the individuals involved. David Otunga sucks. I have nothing else to say about him. He still hasn't shown any signs of improvement, the best thing about Otunga is the fact that he just sort of sits on the outside and doesn't do much. I feel bad for Darren Young. He was never a great worker, and his personality never really caught up with his look, but he worked hard, and now they jobbed him. It would have been really, really interesting last night if after he manned up and volunteered to take on Superman, they'd let him win the match, but of course, as we all know, John Cena doesn't lose. I don't see the point in taking away a member of the group (even if it had been Otunga, honestly), but this is WWE, so you can only expect so much when it comes to how they book heels. My guess would actually be that Young will turn face now, because John Cena will "respect that he stepped up" or something like that. |
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

The only thing I like about Rooster boy, is seeing someone putting him in a crossface. As for the 450, Id love just once to see the target put his feet up as his face is coming down with the move. Sheffield blowing a blood vessel in his brain or heart is imminent. Im not a real big Cena fan either - he's always been a a bit too cornball and his walk-on music annoys me. But that notwithstanding, here's a couple of other WWE booking practices that Im tired of: The CONSTANT Hart Family feud with the Snuka-girl and her boy-toys. Lets move on already. RTruth singing that damn What's Up song - I cant understand you - just record it and let them play it. Santino Morella's antics and his unibrow. |

I don't like the Hart Family at all... Didn't like them as bad guys don't like them as good guys. (I'm actually that they are the group to carry on the Hart name) Last night WWE just copied a script right from the nWo. If you lose we beat your arse. Now they have to keep the loser on the team.. He can become the new Virgil and get beat up every week. Yea noone wants that job... But Virgil made a long career out of it. |

The difference is that Virgil wasn't a wrestler. He was hired by WWE specifically for the role of DiBiase's lackey, and that's why the few times he got in the ring it was just atrocious. Darren Young is a trained up and coming wrestler who is just getting started on his career. The Nexus does not need their own person to get beat up, because all you accomplish by doing that is making sure that one of the guys will never be able to get over once the group splits up. |

I agree with you... That's why nobody would want that part... But wrestling fans have a short memory... If you get a good push even the biggest punk can become popular... |

what i find funny is that TNA rehashed their version of the nWo/Wolfpac with the old guard, called it The Band and bombed... WWE does the same thing but with fresh faces and called it Nexus and sky rockets to the top of the charts. TNA should be watching WWE programing EVERY chance they get and see that old dogs can't earn you new fans. BUT old storylines if done right with new stars can add up to huge ratings. |
