I saw RVD last night... Again, as with all wrestlers I see around town, he is much bigger than he looks on TV... which means that these other guys must be monsters...

Oh man, too true. When flair stayed at the hotel for a couple of weekends, I was amazed at how big he is, and he looks tiny next to the other performers.

Hey, so....with Friday Smackdown moving to the SciFi channel, is thisa long overdue admission by Vince, that not only is Wrestling Fiction....but SCIENCE Fiction?

You cant expect 110% from others, when most times, they don't expect even 90% from themselves. -- Me.

...It is? Last I checked, he was making two to three movies a year, working primarily for Disney, which pays its stars pretty well.

I love The Rock, but the chances of him ever making a permanent return to wrestling are about as close to 0% as it gets. That said, I fully expect we'll see him guest host a Raw sometime.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

just because he's making lots of movies doesn't mean there any good.

and just because you don't like his movies doesn't mean "his acting career is tanking big time"

Sounds to me like he's a success.

Yeah but thats just the pure black-and-white of it...eventually those disney-movie going kids are gonna grow up and not be as entertained.

I saw the Tooth Fairy and it was entertaining in a Rock sort of way, because they fit the character to his known sports persona, as has been the case with just about all of his movies - powerful, athletic, and full of flashy moves. Id be curious to know the criticism he'd receive from a role that takes him out of that character, and into something that he isnt immediately relatable with....something like a corporate swindler or maybe the male lead role in something I saw recently called Tell Tale
