You cant expect 110% from others, when most times, they don't expect even 90% from themselves. -- Me.

or you could look at it like Undertaker needs the biggest names and toughest opponents to make his streak seem all the more impressive. If UT was fighting Seamus, there would be no mystery on whether or not this is the year the streak gets broken. Making HBK and HHH and others of that calibur his opponents make the streak more legit IMO. Who really gives a shit about Undtertaker vs Albert and Big Show? Allowing Undertaker to retire HHH is a big show of respect to UT imo. Does anyone really want to see Seamus or a member or Nexus be HHH's final match just because they are up and coming? lame

I'm just saying, just because of your dislike for HHH, is no reason to assume he's the reason for the booking.

True....at this point with the comebacks, there's really no one else to put HHH up against that would have any real grab effect

This is very true, I would be miserable if you guys always agreed with me. I enjoy you guys so much because you make me debate with you. :allteeth:

Now, that said, my issue with Triple H has nothing to do with H vs. Undertaker at 'Mania. Like I said a couple weeks ago, that match is a much bigger draw than the otherwise proposed H vs. Sheamus and Taker vs. Barrett matches that were planned at one point. I think that's an awesome match, and I'm very much looking forward to it.

My problem comes from the fact if Triple H does indeed retire at 'Mania, that means that he isn't going to have put anyone who needs it over on the way out. If Triple H does stick around after WrestleMania, and he then uses that time to help get some young talents over, then I take back part of what I was saying earlier. I only take back part, though, because even if he starts helping guys get over after the big show, he still went ahead and more or less cut a promo where he said everybody else sucks, and I doubt he's going to make up for that in any way.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

i really don't think HHH is retiring at Mania, he still has lots of good matches left in him... BUT since he is planning on taking a more hands on role with FCW than i think i could cut the guy some slack on this one as far as choosing his final curtian call.

i think his promo where he "burried" the rest of the roster could actually work in their favor because now it gives the guys in the back something to do as far as taking out a legend. and if say someone like Dibiase or Sheamous takes on HHH post mania and defeats him than it gives Takers next Mania match more legitimacy as far as will the streak end. Shaemous could say "Hey i kicked Triple H's ass now i'm coming for you Taker".

FCW is Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's current developmental territory.

Trips may have lots of good matches left in him, but he recently got a major promotion backstage within WWE, I don't know how realistic it is that he can keep working regularly while taking on more duties behind the scenes.

Also, I do agree BX. If Triple H doesn't retire, and somebody takes his promo and turns it into an angle in which they go after him to prove they matter, -and- it results in the person beating Triple H (the last part there is what I would be most doubtful of), then I will agree, there was some good that came out of that promo. Furthermore, I really like your idea there where this person then goes after 'Taker at next year's WrestleMania on the basis that he beat Triple H. That said, 'Taker's streak should never end, so the person would have to lose there, but that's one of those rare occasions where you wouldn't see me complain about that sort of thing. It's Undertaker at WrestleMania, exceptions must be made.
