Yep, this is 100% real. Heading into WrestleMania, he was starting to feel some numbness in his arms, so they decided to have him go in for an MRI after 'Mania. What he was told is that if he continued working at all, he would be risking paralysis, so obviously that meant he had to retire immediately.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

They beat themselves up so badly....

that's very depressing. i bet it's tearing him apart inside that he has to cut his career short. One of the best heels that I can think of.

Absolutely. It's heartbreaking that his career had to end so suddenly like this. Definitely a future HoF.

Also interesting to note, with his retirement, Edge is now first person who had a career of any significance who spent the entirety of it (outside of being a brand new guy on the indies) completely in WWE.

Oh, right, I knew I was forgetting some qualifier for Edge. Should have said over a decade long career. You're right, Rock was strictly a WWE guy.

normally i can't stand R-Truth but i like this turn of his, it gives hit some carachter beyond his shitty rapping and may be the break he has needed.

p.s. WWE will probably get a lot of shit over him lightinh up on national television

Anyone else liking Stone Cold's version of Tough Enough? I kind of am.

Haven't seen Raw yet, but I like that Truth turned heel. Also, WWE did indeed already get some shit over the fact that he was smoking on TV. Honestly, I think that's a little silly for people to get up in arms about, but there you have it.

Also, I am really, really enjoying the new Tough Enough.
