I think the "fan dislike" of Lesnar is exaggerated.

All it would take would be for him to run into a TNA/WWE ring and F5 Jeff Jarrett/Triple H and he would be back in the game.

The reception he got at MSG was in many ways to be expected, since NYC is a major smark hotspot. A number of the smarks in attendance began the chants and it simply spread through the building.

There were reports that the marks in the crowd who weren't aware of Lesnar leaving were actually asking the smarks why they were booing him, and when the smarks told them he had ditched the WWE for his dream of the NFL, they simply joined in and booed him out of the building.

It was hilarious. :p I think New York wrestling fans are priceless.

But I think if he came back to American wrestling, he would be alright.

It wasn't the fact that he left that was the issue. I have no problems with the fact that Brock went off to pursue a career with the NFL. It was the unacceptably unprofessional way in which he left the company to do so. First off, the main reason he left was because he found out he was going to have to start jobbing to make other guys look good, and all of a sudden he coincidentally lost interest in the business. How very strange. Then he left without putting somebody else over on the way out, which is never the right way to go about it.

So yeah...it's not that Brock left WWE that's the problem. It's the fact that he was a whiny crybaby about it that people take issue with.

And a smark is an abbreviation for "smart mark," or in other words a wrestling fan who reads websites like pwinsider.com and has some knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Thank you...

I do agree that the X division move too fast. Hogan said he discovered very young that his reactions to the crowd got more cheers than the actual move. True the X division wrestlers have better moves but it is still a lesson to be learned.

So I always wonder, a question for you smarks... When Brock and Goldberg fought in that wreslemania, with Stone Cold refing, Did they decide that they were going to screw Vince? That was the worst match I have ever seen. People were screaming at first and soon were booing. Right after that all three were gone from the roster. (Of course we can't live without Austin for long)

It reminded me of the time Hogan walked out and let Sting pin him way back in WCW days when he got sick of WCW management.

more human than Human

Austin was already working in a limited capacity because he is now unable to wrestle due to permanant injuries. He was doing what he could for the company OTHER than wrestle which is why he was the co-gm with Bischoff.

Everyone knew that Brock AND Goldberg were leaving after Wrestlemania. Many were angry at them, and many were disapointed. The match was pretty much pointless since it was both of their last matches. This could have been the match of the year but because of the situation at the time, it wasn't. They were getting cold shoulders from the people backstage and the fans were booing both of them during the match. Of course they aren't going to perform to their full potentials while getting bood.
Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

Here is my huge rant!!

1. WM 22 is gonna suck sooooo much!! There are no good matches. Thank goodness I dont pay the $50.00 CDN to watch it. They should do it like WM 18, which I think was one of the best ever. If they wanted to make WM 22 really good this is what they should do.

Cena vs Triple H- Hell in a Cell
Angle vs Orton vs Mysterio- fatal 3-way
Booker T vs Boogeyman- Lumberjack match
Vince vs Michaels- Looser gets fired match (lol vince looses!! That would be funny!!)
Money in the bank match
Edge vs Cactus Jack - leave as hardcore match
Undertaker vs Mark Henry- Table, Ladders and Chairs Match (TLC)
Trish vs Mickey- No holds barred
Torrie vs Candice- Bra and Panties Match
Kane and Big Show vs Carlito and Masters
JBL vs Benoit - Submissions only match

These matches should also be added:

Lita vs Victoria- Number 1 contender match for Women's Championship
Jillian vs Melina- Mud Wrestling Match
Helms vs Super Crazy- Title Match
MNM vs Hardcore Holly and Road Warrior Animal- Title Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Hulk Hogan <--------- OMG WHAT A MATCH THAT WOULD BE! (as they said one time it will happen)

That would be a WrestleMania worth $50.00 don't you agree?

2. Cena's title run is long and boring. I am not a Cena fan but want Cena to win because I would hate to see him loose to HHH because I am sick of seeing that belt on HHH. It should have been Michaels vs Cena for the belt.

3. Have you ever noticed the lack of good superstars there are on RAW. They have Michaels, HHH and thats about it. Everyone else is just not at their caliber. Cena just can't wrestle period. Kane and Big Show use their size to their advantage but cant really wreslte all that well. Carlito and Masters are too new to be able to actual compete against H and Shawn. How Benjamin has the title i'm not even sure because he is a TERRIBLE wreslter. Edge is ok but definalty cant take on H or Shawn and make it a good match. Flair is too old to be able to do good matches, although I do like Flair. And so my point is made. There is no one else. Smackdown has all the talent- Benoit, Booker T, JBL, Angle and Raw has nothing.

4. Get a new GM for RAW and get Vince out of there!

5. Please WWE writers, lets get some actually GOOD wreslters competing for belts, preferably those that have not had a title shot in a while (like Michaels). Atleast that much on RAW anyway.

6. Can we bring back some old wrestlers please. Liek Stone Cold and the Rock. Bring them back and infuse the WWE with some kick ass attitude. Then we can have some good matches.

Well thats my little rant.

I disagree hey didn't start getting booed until after they refused to wrestle. they stood there for about 5 minutes before they did anything.

My guess would be that the WWE booked Goldberg and Lesnar to wrestle such a boring match in order to stick it to them both and make the crowd turn against them.

Goldberg I can understand, since he was totally wasted by the WWE. Goldberg was misused by the WWE as much as Bret Hart was misused by WCW. I can't blame the guy for not signing a new contract and leaving the WWE.

As for Brock, I can't understand why he'd throw away a lucrative deal with the WWE in order to start at the very bottom of the NFL, which he failed at anyway.

Idiot.

Erm...Shelton Benjamin could outwrestle practically every single wrestler WWE has, with the exceptions of Angle, HBK, and Benoit. Shelton is without a doubt one of the single best in-ring talents WWE has signed in a long, long time. Now, he does need a personality transplant, but I don't see how anybody could take anything away from his ring skills.

I also have to disagree about Edge. He's also really good, certainly better than Triple H is these days. Don't get me wrong about H...once upon a time, he legitimately was the best in the business. Those times have long since passed, though.

And Ric Flair still puts on good matches. Granted, I really don't think he should still be wrestling at this point, and his age has slowed him down...but he still tends to put on one of the best matches of the show every time he goes out there.

I also want to point out that Raw has RVD, one of the most underutilized pieces of talent in WWE history.
