When he beat Hogan, the brands had already been split. But there was only ONE champion. The champion appeared on both shows and had to defend his title on both shows. What you are thinking of is Undertaker from Smackdown breaking into RAW and dragging Hogan with a chain on his motorcycle. I think the last time Taker and Kane were together was during or right after the Invasion. |

I vaguely remember Kronik. But what was so bad about the match? I never saw that one. |

Remember when Hogan stole The Undertaker's Motorcycle but couldn't get it into gear? |

I have seen it, and it WAS that bad. The trouble was that, after the initial "Invasion" PPV in July, the whole invasion thing was ballyhooed so fucking much. In the match, Kronik were completely buried by the Brothers of Destruction. "Unforgiven 2001" was the PPV. I don't think I've seen it on DVD yet. I'm not sure what the out-of-court settlement between WWE & WWF (Worldwide Fund for Nature says about them re-releasing PPVs. They have released at LEAST up to 1996, but I haven't been keeping track recently. |

lol, Yes, the Brothers vs. Kronic was absurdly horrible, but remember that this was in one of Undertaker's worst ever points in his career from an in-ring standpoint (and also during the only time he ever threw his political weight around, blaming everyone else for his bad matches). The match wasn't bad for any one specific reason, it was just slow, boring, and painful to watch. Honestly, not one of the four people in the match seemed to be putting any effort into it whatsoever. Thankfully, that was a very unusual period of time for Undertaker, and he has long since come out of that hell, with DDP's being the only career of any consequence that became a casualty of it. I have to admit, while I'm not a huge fan of Kane, and am kinda "meh" about the Undertaker, it was pretty cool seeing them teaming together again. I won't even complain about the fact that they went over Kennedy (and I certainly won't complain that they went over MVP), because that match was just about being fun and giving the fans a good blast from the past. |

With all the older wrestlers making appearances mostly on RAW lately....Hogan, Rhodes, Piper, Slaughter, Hacksaw, the other Rocker...lol. It makes me want to see Macho Man come back. Is there any reason that he won't? I know some crybabies like Hart want nothing to do with WWE...is Randy Savage one of them? I hope not because I would LOVE to see an appearance by him. |

I'm totally with you on that, Kai, I'd love to see Macho make some appearances. Unfortunately, he is in fact a crybaby that doesn't want anything to do with WWE (but in all fairness, Vince is also a crybaby that doesn't want anything to do with Savage). I wish the two sides would get over their ill will towards each other, especially because then we could get one of WWE's super awesome DVD sets dedicated to Macho Man, but I don't think it'll happen any time soon. That said, I do think that eventually, they will someday get over it, and it will probably come with a DVD set and Hall of Fame induction for the Macho Man. Oooooh yeah! |

I'm surprised you didn't give any specifics about the bad relationship. I was hoping for a big fallout story outta you.

lol, Unfortunately, it's not all that interesting of a fallout story. So, there are six main names that Vince likes to claim Eric Bischoff stole from him (some of them are accurate, some of them are not). Those names are Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Lex Luger, Bret Hart (fortunately, Vince seems to be done claiming that Bischoff stole Bret these days), and the Macho Man himself. Well, Macho Man is one of the debatable ones. Toward the end of his WWF run, Vince felt that Macho's in-ring days had come to an end. Macho disagreed, and wanted to keep wrestling. Since Vince does get the final say, Macho was delegated to announcing duties. As his contract was coming up, Eric Bischoff contacted him with the offer to let him come to WCW, where he could continue his in-ring career, so Macho took the offer. So, that's really where the bad blood comes from. Macho felt that Vince forced him out of the ring too soon, Vince feels that Macho is one of the people who betrayed him for WCW. |
