I must agree with you here, Kai. I was as wary of Kevin Federline popping up as anyone else, but thus far he has played a great heel. A surprising thumbs up to K-Fed.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

So it seems cooler heads have prevailed in WWE.

When Vince sent Paul Heyman home, Heyman was of course still under contract. Apparently, after a few days, they have changed their minds and while Heyman is still in essence gone from the company, in that they aren't using him as either an on-air talent or as a booker in any form, he is still under contract and will not actually be released. As near as I can tell, the only reason they would keep him around and keep paying him without having him doing anything is to (very wisely) prevent him from going to TNA to see what he can do there.

MTV Pro Wrestling Going Head-To-Head With ECW
Date Added: December 14, 2006
Story By: Ryan Gray
Wrestling Society X will debut on Tuesday, January 30th at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV. This will go head-to-head with ECW on Sci-Fi. Below is an official press release:

IT'S WEDDING BELLS & WRESTLING RINGS AS MTV GREENLIGHTS EXPLOSIVE NEW SERIES, "BAM'S UNHOLY UNION " & "WRESTLING SOCIETY X"

Skateboard Pro & Jackass Alumni Bam Margera Returns To Take On His Next Death Defying Stunt – Marriage; Plus, Gritty, Dirty & Dangerous, MTV Pushes Wrestling Competition To New Levels

Both To Debut In January 2007

Santa Monica, CA (December 14, 2007) – Unveiling an explosive slate of new programming, MTV today announced the greenlight of two new series, "Bam's Unholy Union," and "Wrestling Society X." In a triumphant return to MTV, skateboard pro and "Jackass" alumnus Bam Margera faces his biggest adventure yet as he prepares to take the vows with his bride-to-be, Missy, in what is guaranteed to be an anything-but-traditional wedding in "Bam's Unholy Union." MTV will also introduce, "Wrestling Society X," the greatest, dirtiest, and most dangerous sports entertainment program that throws out the glam of wrestling, and piles on the grappling action every week from an undisclosed bunker where danger is never far away. Both series are set to make their debut in January 2007.

"Bam's Unholy Union" will document the lives of Bam, finance Missy, and all the friends and family during the months leading up to the anticipated wedding, and culminating with the big day itself. MTV's cameras will capture Bam as he tackles a world that is completely foreign to him. From wedding planners to picking out fine china to bachelor parties, Bam will inevitably throw curveballs into the process throwing everything off course. For Missy, she has only a few short months to find a dress, get a caterer, find a venue, send out invitations and plan the entire wedding. And, of course, April and Phil, a few random uncles, and his buddies, Dunn, Dico and Rake, will all be along for the ride. Margera has previously starred in MTV hits "Viva La Bam" and "Jackass."

Each week on "Wrestling Society X," the most talented warriors the world has ever known will battle each other and their surroundings, creating an experience that will alter viewers lives irrevocably. Featuring an onslaught of death-defying feats, aerobatic maneuvers, and truly athletic performances, "Wrestling Society X" will showcase the unique talents of some of the best in the business including aerial assault artist Jack Evans, the arrogant catalog models, Matt Sydal & Lizzy Valentine, the amazing third generation heir to a wrestling legacy Teddy Hart, as well as the likes of former World Champions Vampiro and Sean "6-Pac" Waltman. Also appearing in each episode will be a very special musical guest, performing live in front of hundreds of rabid fans and the fiery combatants.

For "Bam's Unholy Union," Terry Hardy, Michael Bloom, and Joe DeVito are Executive Producers for Sonar Entertainment. Bam Margera is Executive Producer. Lauren Dolgen and Michael Ireland are Executives in Charge for MTV.

"Wrestling Society X" is produced by Big Vision Entertainment in conjunction with MTV. Houston Curtis is Creator and Executive Producer. Sam Korkis is also Executive Producer. Michael Ireland and David Gross are MTV's Executives In Charge.

For both series, Lois Curren is EVP, MTV Series Entertainment & Programming.
Roll on the Tuesday Night War. Seems that booting Heyman was NOT a good idea, dunnit Vince?

no names that I recognize...I don't think it will last. MTV is flakey.

Sean "6-Pac" Waltman: Buddy of HHH, HBK, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash in "The Klique", or however it's spelt. Vampiro was in WCW, and, if I recall correctly, the World, Wrestling All-Stars. Teddy Hart is Bret "Hitman" Hart's nephew, who has blown each of his opportunities in EVERY major promotion in the U.S. by being a completely arrogant, selfish git, going into business for himself. He's totally unemployable, as far as I can make out. He makes Jeff Hardy, Sabu, or ANYONE (except perhaps Scott Hall) look like a MODEL employee.

lol, WSX is a joke, plain and simple. I'm sure it'll be a cute little diversion, but nothing more. I think the most exciting thing to come out of this project will be national exposure for Jack Evans. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think Evans is a fantastic worker or anything, but he can be a lot of fun to watch. I don't know if any of you guys have ever seen any ROH, but Jack Evans takes insane bumps and can be stretched and bended by his opponents in the strangest ways imaginable.

It's also gonna be cool for Matt Sydal to get some national exposure. He's not the most exciting guy ever, but he's really good in the ring.

And Teddy Hart is a jack-off.
