Ah well...that said, I have to say that I don't really mind the idea of Cena going over at 'Mania. They can't have both titles change hands, and the worst thing that could ever happen in the history of forever would be a no-talent whiny little crybaby like Batista, who can't even have much of a career left since he's already 39 (maybe even 40 by now?) being the one who gets to end Undertaker's Mania streak.

If Batista wins we riot!

And this is in Detroit so that is not a threat but a promise.

I really regret not going now... Maybe it is not too late..??? Hmmmm

I like Batista as much as the next guy... But The taker is the man...

I had the same problem when The Rock and Hogan fought. The only time I ever rooted against The Rock was when he fought Hogan.... I love The Rock but Hogan is immortal...

I watched that match for the very first time just lastnight. It was exciting the whole way through.

One of the great things is that just as many people were rooting for The Rock as were rooting for Hogan...

Like the first 5 minutes of it were amazing. Hogan and Rock lock up, and Hogan wins the strenght competition..throwing Rock across the ring..... Then he does a massive flex at Rock totally getting the crowd screaming like crazy people. It was so much fun to watch!!!!!

I love the hell out of Rock vs. Hogan, that was an awesome match. I think what was really interesting about it, too, was that it shuts up people like myself who are always screaming for quality wrestling and getting angry about having to watch people like Hogan. There was absolutely no "good" wrestling in Rock vs. Hogan, and yet it was such an emotionally compelling match that it absolutely blew away anything else on that card (except maybe the awesome Ric Flair vs. Undertaker match).
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

My brother bought the Wrestlemania Anthology. That's why I was able to watch the match.

The set REALLY sucks though. Everthing that once showed the letters 'WWF' is visually blurred or the audio is dubbed. It especially sucked in WM18 disk I watched because the refs shrits had to be blurred and the ringposts had to be blurred.

I could live with all of that...but the worst part of the disk was that HALF of the entrance themes were completely changed. nWo, Edge, Undertaker...I was really pissed off that I couldn't see Taker enter to the old ROLLIN song...and no nWo tune was just stupid.

that being said, tonight is WM17 for me. Austin versus Rock and TLC2 baby.

For my money, WrestleMania 17 is the best ever. On top of the two you listed, you've got Undertaker vs. Triple H, Jericho vs. Regal, Angle vs. Benoit, Shane vs. Vince, and a really fun Hardcore Title match with Kane, Big Show, and Raven. I don't generally remember cards that specifically, but WM17 is just freakin' awesome.

It did annoy me when they changed the nWo entrance music. The old one was SO much better.
What is the terror of death?
That we die, our work incomplete.
What is the joy of life?
To die knowing our task is done.
