I know you guys don't want to hear this, but any match with Benoit in it is extremely boring. I forward through his matches usually...same as Flair.

o.O Ooh...methinks I understand a bit more now why you don't think Bret Hart was a good wrestler.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Never said Brett wasn't a good wrestler. Just that he was a whiney bitch boy.

And I know what you're thinking, and you're wrong. You are about to say something about "real" or "technical" or "carry a match" blah blah blah. Benoit is just boring plain and simple. Watching him for the first time is good, but all of his matches are pretty much the same, nothing new from him ever. If you've seen one Benoit match, you've seen em all. Granted, the Rock was the same way (same match every week with nothing much new) , but he was entertaining to watch in the ring because of his charisma and ability to get the crowd pumped up.

Benoit match = fast forward
Flair match = fast forward

I hope they never make Ashley champion.... I really like Melina. That was a horrible waste of time. All they had to do to save it was have all the girls tear the clothes off each other.

I just don't like ECW, I never have... RVD and Sabu are wasting away there...

MVP really surprised me as well.

I really wish Hogan could have been there last night.

Did you guys see the Fox theatre where they had the Hall of Fame? That's where we had my high school graduation.

I agree the Undertaker should have been last.

I really wish HBK could have won. And I am surprised HHH didn't make an appearance.

I was really hoping Crime Tyme had been shot in a drive by...oh well a man can dream

Flair may be the greatest of all time. Did you see the Edge and Flair last year? It was one of the best matches I've seen on RAW in years...

So I just watched ECW and as always I fast forward. I was honestly thing that they need to cancel this show. Until the last match. That was the best match ECW has had since starting over. Great match...

You'll get no arguments from me about cancelling "ECW." As an old-school ECW fan, I still find it painful watching them completely bastardize a product that used to mean SO much to so many people every week. While I'm at a point where I accept that this isn't ECW at all anymore, from time to time, I still cringe when I realize that Bobby Lashley is the ECW Champion, and that the ECW Title has been defended against people like Test, Hardcore Holly, and Batista.

To anyone who thinks Flair is boring and that all his matches are the same, I HIGHLY recommend going out and purchasing the Ultimate Ric Flair Collection. If anyone can watch that set, and then afterwards say that they think all Flair matches are the same...well, quite frankly, that just blows my mind.

I would also suggest the Chris Benoit Hard Knocks DVD to disprove the theory about Benoit, although that set isn't a shining beacon of Benoit's greatness the way the Flair collection is. Still, a good set, and it does show at least somewhat that not every Benoit match is the same. Plus, that set is worth getting if only for the sake of owning the Benoit/Regal match on it that was never televised.

I saw most of the Benoit DVD.....*yawn*

As for Flair, I realize he's one of the best there's ever been and in his younger days he did some great things. But whenever he's in the ring now (with the exception of last year's ladder match) are all the same and all extremely boring. Can you name any matches that stand out as great or even different Flair matches ever since he was in Evolution? No, there are none. His matches now are painfully boring to sit through.

Well certainly, Ric Flair in this day and age is nothing compared to the Ric Flair of yesteryear. He's not the worker he used to be, which is only to be expected. Although, I will also say that the way WWE uses Ric Flair doesn't help matters, in that they use him like he's just another talent that now happens to be an old man, as opposed to treating him like he's the true legend that he is. When you're really only used as an enhancement talent, it's hard to put on a good match.

Oh, and I can in fact think of one other match besides the ladder match Flair had that sticks out in my mind, that being the World Championship match he had against Triple H. That was one hell of a bout.
