As awesome as it was, and as much of an Edge fan as I am, I still find it extremely frustrating that WWE felt the need to push the panic button over Kennedy getting hurt.

That said, though...Edge freakin' rules!
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

I'm in a state of shock. The WWE actually released Scott "Scott 2 Hotty" Taylor. I thought he must have been blackmailing Vince he managed to hang around so long. Sabu is gone too, btw.
What is the terror of death?
That we die, our work incomplete.
What is the joy of life?
To die knowing our task is done.

The Scotty firing seriously blew my mind. He's been with the company longer than anyone besides Undertaker and Hardcore Holly, so I figured he'd just be one of those guys that would have a job there for as long as he wanted one, especially since WWE did right by him a while back when he had his struggle with cancer.

Sabu is significantly less shocking. I think we all knew that was coming.

Other firings in the last couple weeks were Rob Conway, Vito, and Mitch of the Spirit Squad.

However, there was one more firing that surprised me probably even more than Scotty. Ariel has been released as well, which considering how much she added to the Kevin Thorn character (as well as the fact that they're planning on giving Thorn a big push right now), just makes absolutely no sense to me. I'll add more onto this if I find out why they let her go.
