Hello folks...I'd just like to say that I haven't been able to watch any Wrestling for weeks, due to my cable and internet being down. Looks as though I haven't missed much. From what I can Tell, both WWE and TNA have been on a downward slope.

TNA is the craphole of wrestling...don't even compare the two companies.

Someone doesn't care for TNA

Seriously though, there was a time when it received praise from WWE fans, now it's reverted to WCW - The Vince Russo Years Version 2

Hey now, let's be fair...

ECW is the craphole of professional wrestling.

In all seriousness, though...I'm down on TNA at the moment as well. A couple of years ago, TNA was consistently putting on PPVs every single month that were blowing WWE so completely out of the water that it made the "big company" look like a complete and utter joke to anyone who was watching. Now...well...they're firing people because they have to free up money to pay big money contracts to people like Pacman Jones and Karen Angle. Vinnie Ru is giving us PPVs where every match has some silly gimmick on it. The true homegrown TNA stars like Samoe Joe and AJ Styles have been clearly established by the booking as being below former WWE talents. It's just so frustrating to see a company that not that long ago was developing into something really special make such a quick turn around and just make stupid mistake after stupid mistake after stupid mistake.

On the other hand, TNA has the same thing going on as SmackDown does, which is that in the middle of all the crap, you're almost always guaranteed a good match on each show. And even though the PPV's are overloaded with silly gimmicks, you can usually expect at least a couple of really excellent matches on the show.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

TNA is actually better than it every was...

Angle and Christian are great. AJ Styles is very funny and is doing a great job. The Tag teams are good, 3D, LAX, Stieners... Kevin Nash is great... Black Machismo hilarious

There is nothing entertaining about Samoa Joe.

The main problem with the show is they do not have the time to explore their story lines

Now don't get me wrong I'm not going to waste my money on a pay for view. But it is better than ECW.

ECW basically has 6 people on the roster. Either put more good people on the show or drop the show. No RVD no ECW

The entertaining thing about Samoa Joe is the fact that he's one of the single best wrestlers in professional wrestling right now. There's a reason that when they brought in Kurt Angle, everyone drooled at the concept of Angle vs. Joe, and then they rushed right into doing it (though I think the rushing in was a terrible mistake, personally...people were so into the idea of it, they should have held off on it for a few months to make it more special when it happened). I know you said you won't waste your money on a TNA PPV, and honestly, I don't think right now that you should...but if you've never seen what Samoa Joe can do in a match that's longer than five minutes, then you haven't seen Samoa Joe.

Christian I absolutely love. He's most likely my favorite currently active wrestler, so you'll get no arguments from me.

Kurt Angle...y'know, I'm conflicted here. On the one hand, Kurt right now is more entertaining than he's been in quite some time, because he's being funny again. On top of that, he's still an absolutely incredible wrestler. But...I'm really sick of Total Nonstop Angle Wrestling.

AJ Styles is another one I'm conflicted on. You're right, he is hilarious, and he's doing a fantastic job in his current role. However, you have to keep in mind that at one point in time, AJ was TNA's signature superstar, and he's a three-time World Heavyweight Champion, but he's treated like a moron goofball that's no more than Christian's sidekick now. Again, he's awesome at doing it, but he does deserve better.

The storyline issue is also definitely a problem, although I think think that's a mixture of only having one hour a week (which won't be a problem much longer, which is sweet), as well as it being a staple of Vince Russo booking (a problem that doesn't appear to be going away any time soon). As I've said, I think when Russo has someone to edit his ideas the way Vince McMahon did back in the day, he's a really great person to have on your team, because he does come up with plenty of ideas, many of which are pretty cool. It's just that when he does come up with a good idea, he doesn't tend to have a lot of patience in telling his story and gets it all out there in two weeks.

I think Samoa Joe can wrestle I have seen some of the matches... But I really don't like wrestlers that are horribly out of shape.... You are a performer part of your job is to be in shape. I actually think his fat is part of the reason he is such a good wrestler... he absorbs the falls.

But his mike performance and personality are weak. And I just can't stand looking at him. Please put on a shirt until the fight starts at least.

As far as Styles goes there can only be a few major story lines at a time.

Remember when Angle was playing the same role to Stone Cold. He was so funny. The ability to go from funny to bad ass is a great attribute for a wrestler. Plus he is one of the best wrestlers today.
