Umaga vs. Jeff was really good stuff. Too bad somebody decided it was a good idea to get Snitsky involved, especially since it appears this is going to lead to a Jeff vs. Snitsky feud. That's a momentum killer if ever there was one.

See, I'm actually excited about that. Not the Snitsky thing, but about a possible Triple H and Jeff Hardy team up. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! And it could push Jeff into main event land where he could actually start competing for the real title. They were great together at Survivor Series. I just hope Triple H stops talking, he's just not funny.

This should come as no shock after the way he was used last night, but don't be surprised if Carlito isn't around too much longer.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Booker going to TNA is pretty pathetic. I've lost alot of respect for the guy. He WAS my second favorite performer...now I just don't know.

Let's see, this past year he was made the Heavyweight Champion. The King of the Ring. AND the Champion of Champions!!!!!!! What the fuck more does the guy want?

From what I understand..WWE and Booker T had a contract with Booker T's own wrestling promotion. Booker T felt that the contract was not being respected. Plus it could be about money... Maybe he just didn't like the management... who knows..

This is a business...

People said the same thing about Hulk Hogan... Kevin Nash and Scott Hall going to WCW... Look what happened there.

It only takes the right combination of talent and the next thing you know... "Did you come here to see TNA...or did you come here to see the (Fill in the blank)..."

There were a number of factors that resulted in Booker leaving. One has to do with the wrestling school/promotion. When WWE started looking into having another developmental territory, Booker tried to get them to adopt his, but WWE wasn't interested, which Booker took offense to. After that, the move to Raw killed his morale, because Raw is as much of a dead end for guys as WCW was back in the day. Not to mention, it didn't help that the specific reason he was moved from SmackDown, where he was very happy, over to Raw was so that he could job to Triple H in a completely uncompetitive feud. Stack that on top of the fact that he was taking that role from Randy Orton, who was originally going to be Triple H's job boy upon his return, and you have now given preferential treatment to somebody who has consistently been a public embarassment for WWE. The straw that broke the camel's back, though, was the suspension. Booker maintains that he did not violate the wellness policy. Honestly, I don't know if that's true or not, but I think at that point WWE had done so much to kill his morale that he was just looking for an excuse to leave.

Anyway, I think Booker and TNA make a lot of sense together. If you see Booker these days, he looks happier than he has been in quite some time. You can tell that he's legitimately enjoying being there. And TNA, while they do have a tendency to pick up too many WWE guys, can really benefit from Booker. He's a unique performer that doesn't have the same aura about him of "Oh, look...another WWE guy."

They can never pick up too many WWE wrestlers...

Shelton Benjamin fits in well on ECW... He should be champion...and soon

Shelton does not even belong in the ECW. Shelton is an athlete yes. He is a performer yes. But ECW is in its core one thing pure and simple....fighting.

Guys who can just absolutely brawl and at the same time do athletic stuff belong there. Guys like RVD, Sabu, and so many of the original ECW guys are absolutely amazing when it comes to their fighting styles. Who really belongs as a solid ECW athlete is Hardcore Holly. Few other guys can match his combination of strength and agility but still have a great wrestling background as well. Finley also would be perfect for the ECW.

ECW is for guys who are not the monsters (Big Daddy V, Kane, Snitsky etc). But all size guys who have speed, strength, wrestling skills, and NO FEAR!

Agreed on Shelton, he's a great fit on ECW, and I'm excited to see what they do with him. I don't know if I'd make him champ yet, simply because CM Punk is so awesome, but I would like to see that down the line.

However, I have to COMPLETELY disagree that TNA can't take too many WWE guys. I think they've already crossed that line. If names like Kurt Angle and Sting didn't pop their ratings, then it means bringing in names from other companies is not the way to go. What TNA needs to do, and this is something that they still haven't managed after almost five and a half years of existing, is to establish their own specific identity. We know what WWE means to the wrestling world. We know what WCW, ECW, the AWA, and WCCW meant to the wrestling world. Hell, we even know what ROH means to the wrestling world. But honestly, what does TNA specifically mean to the wrestling world? I don't mean to imply that there can't be an answer to that, but there isn't yet, and there won't be as long as they keep signing more and more WWE guys, as that's flushing away what identity TNA does have. TNA is only going to become the true phenomenon they want it to be if they start using their own guys. Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Abyss, Christopher Daniels, James Storm, Chris Harris, Robert Roode, Kaz, LAX, the Motor City Machineguns, etc. I'm not saying every one of those guys should be a main eventer, but they need to be developed as the most prominent people at whatever spot in the card they are at. And at the very least, Samoa Joe needs to be pushed as the face of that company, because he is completely different than anything in WWE.

TNA right now is too focused on trying to be like WWE, and they're only going to fail at that. Until they stop trying to be WWE and start trying to be TNA, they're gonna keep hovering at that 1.0 rating.

That said...again, I think Booker is one of the rare people that really benefits the company by being there. He and Christian are the main two I think TNA is getting value from, or can get value from in Booker's case.
