I'd love to see Ricky Hatton come down to ringside, but I don't think that'll happen.

I watched that fight. Good Lord, the place was FILLED with Brits, lol. It was quite refreshing ........... until a few rounds in and your mates got so drunk they were then singing off key, lol. (and they sang THE WHOLE FIGHT)

I thought Hatton looked quite good in the beginning. He gave Mayweather a taste of something he had never seen before ........... a down and dirty brawl. But alas, Mayweather prevailed. :sarcastic:

British sports fans always sing off-key. You also get the band playing "The Great Escape" at any football (I'm talking about the sport Americans call Soccer) match, and the cricket seems to have it as well.

The whole bit with Finlay, Hornswoggle & JBL was SO lame. They need to move on and find a new shtick. :waiting:

"STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE has suspended Jeff Hardy for 60 days, for his second violation of the company’s policy."

Too bad...

"Raw Superstar and former Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy lost his Cameron, N.C., home to fire late Friday night.
Hardy was not at home at the time of the blaze. His home is being reported as a total loss.
At this time, the Superstar has been unavailable for comment on the incident.
News reports state that Moore County Fire Department officials currently list the cause of the fire as "undetermined." Fire department officials also stated that foul play is not being investigated, as Hardy reportedly told investigators that he did not have insurance on his home.
On his personal blog, Raw commentator Jim Ross reported that Jeff's brother, Matt, saw smoke coming from Jeff's home late Friday night and was able to confirm that no one was home, but was too late to do anything to save the house. Read J.R.'s blog post"

Really too bad!

In reference to the first bit, I'd actually be somewhat surprised to see him come back this time. What I've heard is WWE, understandably, very strongly wants him to go to rehab, but his opinion on the matter is that he'd rather quit than do that. So obviously, he could very well actually be back at the end of his suspension, but I also wouldn't be shocked if this is actually the end of Jeff's WWE run.

As for the second...man, that really is heartbreaking. You have to feel for a guy who loses basically everything he owns, including his dog. Just so sad.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

I have been waiting for years for the Rock to return...but I will wait and rent it next month for 2 bucks.

Ric's match was the best I've seen from him since I started watching wrestling 12 years ago. I thought Edge was going to finish is after that second spear. I got so excited only to have it end in an anti-climax. Great match otherwise, though.

That Flair tribute was just so moving, I have a hard time imagining any wrestling fan not getting at least a bit teared up during it.
