good to see you nhranger,

did Seven say that before she left the collective, because I remember a moment of reveal when Janeway discovered that the borg had brought this on themselves and were not the victims at all.

Janeway was angry that seven lied to her.

there were a lot of mixed lines in it actually. there was "hope and fear" that described that the species partioned 8472 to kill the borg. In other ep's the borg aparantly tryed to assimilate them, but probably when they had allready been attacked by them. meaning maybe 8472 possed a threat and the bord coulnt counter it.

so by that time the aliens will know of the universe as we see it and want to annhilate it. i dont think it was janeways falt as a captain.

From stranding her crew in the stupid delta quadrant just to help the okampa to forming an alliance with the borg when species 8473 could have finished the borg off...

Uh, you do know that she was just obeying the writers?

She was a noble person, a humanitarian, a risk taker and most of all a scientist. She couldn't stand the thought of an entire planet being plundered by the Kazon. She smuggled telepaths through an area that was predjeduced against them. Most of all she had the interest of the crew at heart and did all that she could to bring them home. She was a very good captain, and her loyal crew more than made up for her shortcomings.

My God !!! :spencer: Tiberius I was too long out of here !!!! Cannot believe to see this :sobbing: ....

I agree with Captain Victoria ... Janeway is my favorite captain of them all..

Ok she stucked Voyager in the DQ after destroying the Caretaker array but she did her job ... She faced her conscience along the way back with her faults but each time her crew was there to remind her they needed her... She would have given her life to bring them home quicker .. She faced dangers ans species never encountered before and she did it pretty well...

on top of this I am a huge fan of Kate Mulgrew and she gave so much passion & life to the character .. they were the perfect match together ..

Okay Janeway as a "dyke"...There has always been some speculation about her relationship with Seven of Nine... She often went above and beyond for Seven when she wouldn't have for "Ensign Redshirt".

And in the words of our intrepid reviewer from "Firsttvdrama.com

And let's not forget that Seven is a virgin.

At least before Chakotay got his grimy hands on her :D

maybe if anyhting (authough i dont agree with this view of her) she was Bi, cus she had a fair amount of mail crushes. wonderes about chakote at one point too. but it is odd how much she takes care of 7.... then again though maybe it was because she had removedher from the collective and so felt obligated to help... like the caretaker and ocampa.
