So did anyone else here get this DVD? I liked it very much, once I got over the odd editting style of anime, which I haven't experienced for some time now. Actually, after watching it, I blew the dust off of my copy of FF7 and started to play it again. I remember that at E3, Square-Enix had what they called a technical demo of the PS3, which was just a remade version of the intro video to FF7. They say that they're not going to remake it, but I personally hope they do. Now I know that some people wouldn't like for them to remake the game, but I think that if they just updated the graphics, or at a minimum just the CG scenes, they would sell a crap load of games. After all, my playstation 1 crapped out years ago, and the PS2 is soon to go the way of the dodo in a few years, so once my PS2 craps out, which I'm sure it will, I'll just have a set of black discs that I'll never be able to play again. Thats why I hope they make an updated version so the game could still be played. |

It was great except for the ending which felt rushed and as if the writers suddenly lost interest and did feck all. |

Yeah i have both the Jap and the english versions of this film... The english dubbs though are hurendous... they really do look awful.. however the story makes a lot more sense with words rather than the poor subtitles on my other copy. I really love this film. it brings a nice close to the FF7 story, and is a really good story stand alone too. the graphics cant be faltered anf the amount of actual final fantasyish stuff is great, where as with the spirits within it was less final fantasy and more "lets make a film" |

If I remember correctly, Zac was killed on the cliff where the sword was by Shinra troops who gunned him down, and left Cloud for dead. Cloud took the sword and then somehow combined his memories with Zac's. I played Kingdom Hearts a few years ago and really can't remember what they sounded like, or if they even talked for that matter. Cait Sith was controled by a guy named Reeve, who left Cloud a voicemail as the phone fell into the water. Concievably Reeve just controled the robot at the end as well. Whats sort of funny is that I have a friend who borrowed the game a few years back, and he went on the date in "Vegas" with Tifa, so he really didn't understand the whole attachment to Aeris. He never really got totaly into the game, so when he saw the movie he was confused at why Cloud was depressed about Aeris when he still had Tifa. I tried to tell him why, but he lost interest. So does anyone think that they should remake the game with new graphics while keeping the story EXACTLY the same? |

i think that 9 was the best i loved the way there was loads of side quests in ff7 but i hated the way that you could play the whole game without changing charcters if you know what i mean? i can always remember nearly completein the game ( last battle) AND hearing that there was anoher character called vincent i played ff6 but my game broke like in the last battle |

I have FF6 for the playstation, but never played it. Is the storyline any good? Cause thats all I really remember from any of them. 9 was cool, but I think I got spoiled on the "futuristic" setting of 7 and 8 to then play a game that was more or less set in a true "medieval" fantasy world. Thats kind of confusing, but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say. The best part of 9 I thought was the fact that they gave the mogs a bigger art. I liked 8 a lot, if you couldn't tell by the SN, but honestly I can't remember anything about it other than the gunblade. 10 was allright, but I didn't like how it had the feeling that everything was just down the road, since there wasn't really an open map until something like the very end. That, and the whole surfer theme was kind of annoying. I never played X2 so I have no coment for that one. Since 11 is a mmorpg, I'm not sure if I'll ever play it. I tried playing Everquest for the PS2 when it came out and lost interest fast. I dont really like wandering in the woods looking for rats and bats to kill just to continue the storyline. I still think that 7 had the best story for any game I've ever played, but then again I haven't played too many games. I did just beat Oblivion, or at least the main quest for it, but that story didnt seem to be as envolving as a FF game. |

FF6... best console RPG EVER! Although, to be serious, there may have simply been too much to make a single movie out of it, yet more than one seems like it would be too much. |

I dropped out of RPG's years ago actually. I only have memories of small things from Midgar and Wutai from FF7. I would much rather play eight really. |
