That's what i thought , if they do actually charge the guy and convict the guy of that then it's definately a judicial system in crisis . It's really just a terrible tradgedy , nothing more , no one to blame |

They're not going to, although they WILL make an example out of him. His bond was set at $1,000,000. |

I think that you're right. They're going to make an example of him in this case. |

a million dollars for assault, theft, and resisting arrest?? damn, that is very harsh. LOL...if they do try to make an example of this guy, it might backfire on them and turn the dude into a hero/martyr. As soon as I figure out which courtroom the guy will be in, I'll listen in and give you guys the updates. |

I aggree , the punishment should fit the crime . If later down the track they find that there was a fault in the machinery or it is proved to be pilot error conclusivly , then he may have a case .

They're saying that a 'vacuum' was caused that pulled Channel 15 into Channel 3. I doubt it was a machinery problem ........ probably just a lack of observance on the part of the pilot. Everyone trying to get the best angle and the best scoop for their news crew. |

I was talking to a pilot yesterday and he said it's amazing this hasn't happened before. He said there is way too much traffic over big cities and no one is talking to each other. miracle they didn't land on top of a house or mall or something. |
