you'd be surprised how many people I know who dislike Obama purely for his policies, they couldn't care less about the color of his skin

If you are not for "The One" you had better be prepared to list the reasons why otherwise your racist. Now if you support him you dont have to have a reason. Im confident to say that the number of people who dislike him due to his skin color is no where near the number of people who voted for just because of his skin color. Anyone remember the interview durring the primarys with a room full of Obama supporters and not one of them could name an acomplishment  Better yet, remember when he wasnt black enough to some black folk? Now hes their messiah. My how times change.

and yet many things remain the same, people still can't name any of his acoplishments (because there really aren't any) and the only reason some African-Americans did a 180 reguarding Obama is because in the end many people have decided issues and the well being of the country be damned, since there's never been a black president before, by golly! lets put one in there at all costs, which isn't anything new, there's always a segment that can't look past people's genders, or race
we want the old Kai! "bring sexy back, vote Classic Kai"

I think this is a critically important election in the united states.  Shame it has been reduced to a race vs. gender contest

I still think it is policy. Then again I try to keep myself more informed than the average bear. It is scandalous that to many Americans might just be doing what you suggest, Wissa. :dunno:
