not to mention I'm surprised at how everyone's freaking out over pidly things Palin may or may not have done, yet Obama's connections to shady people, let alone his totally wacked out paster who before that nuke hit he'd called his closest advisor, the one who brought him to Christ, etc... have been totally shoved under the rug or something :wtf:

heck, just the fact that Obama said he wants to reduce our nukes, cut weapon systems funding, stop all development of any future weapons system or weapon R&D, etc... makes he want to stay as far away from him as possible, contrast his brainlessness with Russia letting Poland know they're gonna nuke them if they let us put a missile defense shield silo there and I definitely do not feel safe

I think it is a case of so much stuff in a short period of time so it looks like it's actually worse than it is. Obama's crap has trickled out over what a year and a half period, hers has come out in 3 days or so. So of course it looks like she is getting picked on.

Well said, Tim.

Trust is something I get to decide, a persons intelligence is something I can't.

If I slam someone on how bright they are, it's a personal attack.

If I don't trust you it's not. I can't make this any clearer. Lack of trust is not a personal attack.

She is under 2 investigations for ethic violations in Alaska. Gimme a break.

In regards to the ex brother in law, if you read up on him and dont even consider the death threat to Palins father, you would see this is a guy that shouldnt be armed or in law inforcment.

BTW, her teenage daughter is knocked up.  I wonder how the rightwing feels about that.

They don't care because she is a Republican. The Right Wing only cares if an unmarried Democrat gets pregnant.

And the media only cares when its a repbulican. Thats why Palin is all over the news but you didnt hear much about Edwards doing that new age hippie chick while his dying wife was at home caring for the kids. The media approaches the Dems differently. I mean what blow job did you hear more about...the one Bill got while in office or the one Craig was soliciting in the mens room?

indifferent, what's her daughters personal life got to do with anything?
she's marrying the guy, having the baby, people make mistakes, they're apparently handling it responsibly

I mean heck one of Cheney's daughters is a lesbian, were there riots in the streets over that one?

They will use it to attack her ethics and morals. That would be Democrats. Attacking someone about morals and ethics. Democrats. Aint that the pot calling the kettle black

p.s. good to see you again Darren

Her daughter's personal life has nothing to do with her candidacy. But I know that the Republicans would make an issue of it if it was Obama's or Biden's daughter who was an unmarried minor who was pregnant. They would be screaming about family values.

They wouldnt have a chance to, remember "The One" himself said he wouldnt want his daughter burdoned with a baby. No doubt they would have it aborted, then go pray together in Wrights church of hate.

Yet...she still ranks an 80% approval rating in Alaska.

Palin investigated for role in sacking
Tim Shipman Dayton, Ohio
September 1, 2008

JOHN McCain has not just taken a risk on the inexperience of Sarah Palin, his running mate.

He is also gambling that an ethics investigation does not blow up in the Alaska governor's face when the Democrat leading the inquiry reports on October 31 - just five days before the election.

What started as a family dispute in the suburbs of Anchorage could end up determining who governs the US.

Governor Palin is being investigated for her role in last month's sacking of Walter Monegan, the state's public safety director. Mr Monegan had refused to fire Governor Palin's estranged former brother-in-law, a state trooper who allegedly threatened to shoot her father during a child custody battle.

Governor Palin said that Mr Monegan was removed for failing to fill vacancies.

Mr Monegan said he was put under pressure to sack the state trooper, Michael Wooten, by Governor Palin's husband, Todd, and a senior aide.

A police investigation found Mr Wooten guilty of several infractions, including using a Taser stun gun on his stepson, the Anchorage Daily News reported.

Those events took place when Governor Palin was mayor of Wasilla, a town of 7000 people. Nonetheless, Mr McCain's White House hopes could be shaped by Alaska's "Troopergate".

The affair has done little to dampen Governor Palin's popularity rating, which stands at 80 per cent, a level that governors of the other 49 states can only dream of. There is no denying that the state's first family is an all-Alaskan clan. Mr Palin, who is a quarter Yup'ik Eskimo, told People magazine that their favourite food was caribou hot dogs. He is reigning champion in the annual Iron Dog snowmobile race and known affectionately as "First Dude". His wife's work duties have apparently prevented her hunting recently. TELEGRAPH

I wonder if Maddica worked on those figures?

BTW, her teenage daughter is knocked up. I wonder how the rightwing feels about that.

What is so funny about this people talk about how bad a pregnant girl is... But if she had an abortion know one would know.

The message being have an abortion no one cares... Try and raise a child people have a fit....

Yeah, what a world we live in. The liberals will be the first to protest a convicted murderer from receiving the death penalty but have no problem killing unborn babies. Thats balanced.

Now there are reports that when she became mayor of that town she's from, she approached the librarian about banning books.

I guess she sees it as her job to protect people from reality.

No, thats the Democratic congress's job
