Jack Sparrow: "Why should I sail with any of you? Four of you have tried to kill me in the past."
[looks at Elizabeth]
Jack Sparrow: "One of you succeeded."

I understand that its only a debate and not a Campaign caucus or anything like that, however, at times I found both them with all of the rebutting that they did on each other, at several points failing to answer the question, or at the very least, side-stepping the questions, eating up the clock with their rebuttals to both say what they've already previously said in either the primary statement or in a previous statement.

Im not saying that this went on all the time, but I felt it went on more than necessary, and a couple of the questions that were asked that I would have liked to have heard answered, I felt a little disappointed with the answers.

Biden spoke well and his years of service and experience served him.
Palin did remarkably well considering this was her baptism by fire, and I was impressed....but I think she really stuck the knife in with confidence and felt her points shoot up when she dropped on Biden, the "surrender" bomb. I think he's still recovering from that one.

.......but I swear I wanted to shut her mouth "pimp-style" :dancing: if I
heard the word MAVERICK come out of her mouth one more time.

yeah the maverick thing was a bit much.

This is not a scientific poll

CNN is hardly neutral, contrast their poll with FOXNEWS' and you'll see my point, both are skewed heavily in one direction

meanwhile I saw a couple of the polls run by our local news stations and they had Palin winning it by around 15% or so of the polling vote

the problem with polls like these is they aren't scientific, and they aren't fool proof, and there's so much of a difference from poll to poll depending on who ran it that it's really kind of useless to even cite them, because you're always going to be able to find one that fits your purpose

those local polls don't really count seeing as how McCain is the ARIZONA senator. lol

Palin could have vomited and ran off the stage and our polls still would have shown her ahead.

and the only way you could have padded the FOX one was if you had more than one cell phone, I'd know because I thought the first text didn't send, and sent it again just incase and got back a message saying I'd already voted

that's my point, you can always find a poll that supports your view point
