Which would be creating a 21st Century Leper Colony. And that isn't a good idea. What is needed is compassion, education and treatment. |

You do realize that stem cells research isn't illegal there just isn't any goverment funding of embryonic stem cells. There is nothing that stops a private firm from raising the money themselves. |

whats hopefully is in the past once Bush gets out of office, is to never again let god-squads or jesus freaks get in again, and then to tell them and all their lobbyists to take a flying fuck, go to hell, stay out of gov't, stay out of education, get back in the church, stay there and let science progress. We should cures by now for various diseases We should have electric cars We should have air cars We should have a better educated future without all kinds of of stupid issues about god in the classroom We should have hypersonic commercial flight We should clean safe renewable energy We should have medical research thats providing safe recovery and treatment without making people decide whether they are getting medicine or food or heat that month We should have a lot of things by now. All we have are special interests, lobbyists and deep pockets. |
