Saw this on another forum. The corvette in the the trailer is a '66 the same year as tos premiered. They also said the speedometer started at 66 and went to 79 which was when TMP was released but it doesn't look like that to me.


also the story is that william shatner went and bought himself a new corvette at the end of the first season.


so is the corvette going over the cliff a representation of out with the old in with the new?

i heard he was living out of his car/truck right after the show ended. kinda hard to beleive he was able to buy a corvette just after the first season. he didn't make much money then.

sounds like some goofs are making up fanboy shit that's not even true. especially since you said the speedometer thing is wrong.

well if he spent every dime he made then maybe he had nothing to live on after the show ended. They probably made decent money while filming it but not enough to get rich on.
