We have texting turned off on my royal highness's phone. She thinks it's cruel and unusual punishment but I'm not paying a bunch of extra money every month for her to text in class.

:wtf: How does she manage that while in school? At Kellie's high school they'll take the phone away and the parents have to come get it for the first offense.

They have to catch them first....this young texting generation has become so exceedingly adept at firing off a message, that they could almost make a speed-related Olympic event out of it.

Phones are supposed to be kept in lockers during the school day. :dunno:

They're also not supposed to cut class or skip out, but......

You cant expect 110% from others, when most times, they don't expect even 90% from themselves. -- Me.
No matter how hard your day, no matter how tough your choices, how complex your ethical decisions, you always get to choose what you have for lunch.

I know, it's just how it's enforced.

TBH, I'm the worst person in my family for texting, about $400 per month, so I'm glad I opted for an xtra $20 a month for unlimited texting.

Me too. Only I jumped on the unlimited texting bandwagon before texting got as big and only pay $5 a month. I think $15-20 is pretty standard now for all carriers, but I just keep signing the same contract so my phone bill is crazily low even with the internets and texting.

call the school office if there's an emergency. that always worked fine for us when we were growing up.
